My favourite version of the Accord, 98 season with beautiful livery, much better looking than 99 version. Would love to see its HQ model in Assetto Corsa like the 99 version.
I do have a lot of walk-around footage of the ZS actually. I'm just lacking on the on track footage though. It is a project I want to come back to in the future if I can.
A 2 liter naturally aspirated 4 cylinder engine with around 300 hp, and a revlimit of 8500 rpm, all per super touring car regulations. The car weighs 975 kgs. ( Fwd super touring car weight limit )
It’s a f series like the f20b that came in some accords and torneo’s. It has a customised head that’s flipped so the intake/throttle bodies are in the front like a k series. Lots of custom work done. Neil Brown engineering built them I believe for that race class. Really cool to read about. Made almost 300hp
Because of reglements . And V-Tec is used in street legal engines to recieve a higher torque in lower revs . You can also put out 200 HP from a 2.0 engine without V-tec but than yon have low torque in lower revs because you have a low flow rate of the gasoline-air mixture . The flow rate is very important in a natural aspirated engine .

these cars will forever be loved.
This Accord shape is a beautiful timeless bodyshape!! Theese with f22 Vtec and H23 non vtec is awsome engines!
f22 doesnt have real vtec, as in it doesnt have a camshaft with 2 different profiles
I wish long life to this beauty ❤
This Accord BTCC is timeless
Magnifique 🥰
That looked like a k series motor. The plenum is huge!
H22 legend
beautiful
Would love to see a walk around on the mg zs if you get chance

@@MWRaceRally is it on your TH-cam channel I couldn't find any
I shot the footage last year but don't have enough on track stuff to actually put anything out there yet.
@@MWRaceRally new footage of the Jason Hughes car seems to be a rare sight on the internet these days
@@zsracer7830 he's always out in his Vectra these days (which I've also done a video about a while ago 😉)
My f20b vtec ❤❤
This thing wines like an airplane

Why wouldn't you let me drive this car?
Does anyone know what engine it is?
Of the massive array of motors Honda has, it’s probbably a manufacturer motor tweaked for competition

The BTCC had NO VTEC? Interesting .

It definitely had vtec the head was put on backwards to allow more air flow just like the k series 🤷🏽♂️
Accord 5 😢🤗🎆🎉💪👍
