Alex Caruso, the undrafted basketball phenom turned NBA champion, embodies the essence of resilience, determination, and perseverance. Standing at 6'5" with an unassuming appearance, Caruso's journey to the upper echelons of professional basketball is a testament to his unwavering work ethic and commitment to excellence. Born on February 28, 1994, in College Station, Texas, Caruso's basketball journey began in his early years. Despite not being heavily recruited out of high school, he caught the attention of Texas A&M University, where he played college basketball for four years. Caruso's time with the Aggies was marked by steady improvement and a relentless drive to succeed, earning him a reputation as a tenacious defender and a cerebral playmaker on the court. However, it was after going undrafted in the 2016 NBA Draft that Caruso faced his greatest challenge. Undeterred by setbacks, he continued to pursue his dream, signing with the Oklahoma City Thunder for the NBA Summer League. His performance caught the eye of the Los Angeles Lakers, who signed him to a two-way contract in 2017. From there, Caruso's career began to gain momentum. Despite spending time in the NBA G League, he continued to hone his skills and make a name for himself as a valuable asset to the Lakers' roster. Known for his high basketball IQ, defensive prowess, and ability to make plays in crucial moments, Caruso quickly became a fan favorite in Los Angeles. However, it was during the Lakers' championship run in the 2019-2020 NBA season that Caruso truly solidified his place in NBA history. As a key contributor off the bench, he played a vital role in helping the Lakers capture their 17th NBA championship, showcasing his versatility and willingness to do whatever it takes to win. Beyond his on-court contributions, Caruso's humility, professionalism, and leadership have endeared him to teammates, coaches, and fans alike. He serves as a reminder that success is not always measured by accolades or draft positions but by the relentless pursuit of one's dreams and the willingness to put in the work day in and day out. In conclusion, Alex Caruso's journey from undrafted rookie to NBA champion is a testament to the power of perseverance, hard work, and self-belief. His story serves as an inspiration to aspiring athletes everywhere, proving that with dedication and determination, anything is possible.
The only time they have a chance getting Gobert was on that day they selected Snell instead in the draft lmao Zach is expected to resign so they will not pursue Gobert...
With his lock down defense and high iq for the game, he’s athletic and has more than enough to quarterback the team, I don’t understand why isn’t he starting for Chicago? We miss you in LAker uniform AC
HEY! BELIEVE IN YOURSELF Some days are more difficult than others. If today is one of them, remind yourself to just breathe. You can pick up your fight again tomorrow.🤞🏽❤️🔥
Yeah it was just bad timing all around. Just a whole string of events, really. 21 days out with a strained hamstring. Didn't even play a game once back before covid sat him out 10 more days. Bulls were struggling and he came back during a losing streak. They beat the Cavs with him and had a nice game with the Bucks when he went down. 6 more weeks out. AC played only 41 games on account, literally half the season. 'Zo played even less. Yet both were so impactful when playing, such big presences on the court, you'd swear they played in more games. Bulls need them both healthy next season for at least 60 games plus and into the playoffs. Do a bit of load management for both using Dragic and Ayo.
Literally best transfer for Bulls last season.
Lonzo was the best then Caruso
@@martezhodges3016?
💯
I could watch these all day, so glad we got him
I’m a lakers fan and you have no idea how upset I am Chicago has him. You have a fkn nation treasure in your presence.
Got that right! I want him on MY team!
It has to be #1 priority to keep Caruso and Ball healthy next year.
Who knows how long Lonzo Ball will be out. I guess his knee injury is serious.
@@rickDArula nope he actually doing fine
Or give us atleast 60 games with each of them
💯
That’s up to them that’s not something you can just make a priority or else they would keep everyone healthy
When I see clips of the bulls all healthy it really brings a smile to my face
Their basketball is so fun to watch
Glad he on a team he can really shine on.
As a laker fan I miss this guy :( happy for y’all
Just was saying this sigh
Took the words right out of my mouth
I can't understand why the Lakers gave up on him. Who wouldn't want a guy like this on his team??

Don't underestimate the importance of having a healthy Ball and Caruso.

Him and Ball was something else for about 3months
Man I miss my lockdown bros 🔒 Zo and Caruso about to go crazy with Rudy now on the squad 😉
The only time they have a chance getting Gobert was on that day they selected Snell instead in the draft lmao Zach is expected to resign so they will not pursue Gobert...
@@mozdaboz wdym a trade for gobert involving vuc, coby, Troy brown or DJJ would work
@@lazybean8718 I would definitely run that
@@MrDweeny ez, hopefully they do. We’ll see soon enough
@Octuple Possum I mean you getting a center that can stretch the floor and a nice 6th man
awesome player, the effort, commitment and intelligent
We need a 3&D wing and a paint protector off the bench to compliment Ayo and Caruso. Then we’d be 9 deep and can make a good run at a title 🤞🏾🔮
Yup
Amir Coffey and Isaiah Hartenstein both from clips. Hartenstein with MLE and sign and trade Coffey for Coby 👀
alex caruso is a great baskebll player

That bogus injury by Allen. Kudos to him just gutting it out, but you can see his game change. Looking forward to him being healthy again.
The Goat
As a Lakers fan looking for highlights of my boy, I hope y'all bull fans appreciate the bald eagle fr
Dang we need to get Lonzo and Lavine healthy. Bulls were on fire for the first half of the season last year
So good Alex 💯💯👍
With his lock down defense and high iq for the game, he’s athletic and has more than enough to quarterback the team, I don’t understand why isn’t he starting for Chicago? We miss you in LAker uniform AC

Frfr. He got so many insane dunks and lob catches. The one where he hit his head on the backboard vs Celtics is my favorite by him

You can tell he kinda fell off after that wrist injury. Dude was balling before that bogus foul.

This is literally the perfect player to play with LeBron and AD and they fumbled the bag badly
It was Rob Pelinka’s bitch ass
I honestly think Austin Reaves' skillset matches a little better since he's a better shooter, but man I miss Caruso anyway.
Name a better Bulls player ever, I’ll wait.
Can we resign DJJ please. We can use his size and athleticism going foward
He needs to hit the weights and he’d be unstoppable
