He is a Russian citizen and only has a Russian passport. He was a resident of Sweden which doesn't give you a passport. Hard to get a visa to the US if you country is under sanctions. That is why UAE cards are full of Russians. Add to that the statements Chimaev has made on US sactioned Kadyrov and call for violence it is unlikely he will get visa to the US.
