    The kittens! What a charming piece! And I think framing totally counts as fully finishing. ;) Love the gingerbread train! You are on a tear with the stitching! Go you!

    2 more years to finish that gorgeous piece! You’re amazing, great work! I like the circular shape for the cabin.

    Girl, you are a MACHINE! I don’t know how you get so much done! Fantastic WIPs! I say go ahead and start that new project! (Of course I would say that! I have more WIPs going than I can count!)

    Great update! I love your projects and your new cabin pattern looks pretty, too. I like either the ornament size or stitching the whole thing. Pattern Keeper takes a lot of the annoyance out of confetti, so if your husband likes the full version, it’s probably best to do all of it. He’ll be cheering you on to get through it! 🥳

      Thanks for voting Sarah! I've requested HAED to chart the ornament version! Happy stitching 💜

      Thank you! I think it would be really cool to have a full coverage piece that isn't rectangular, change things up a bit!

      Thanks Nina! I'm really happy with how the face came out! I feel like sometimes the faces on HAEDs have shading issues so I was pleased that this one looks so good! Happy stitching to you too!

    Hi Lidia! So fun to see you again! Thanks for the WIP parade, it was fun to see all your projects. I really like the circle crop of the house the best. That is a beautiful pattern. So many patterns and not enough years left for me to do them! Do I care? No way! 😂😂😂 Happy Stitching!

    • @LidiasLeisurelyStitching
      @LidiasLeisurelyStitching  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you Colette! A lot of people seem to prefer the circle crop of the cabin 😃 I agree- there is not enough time to stitch all the things I want to stitch! Do I already have 30 years of projects on the go? Yes. Am I still thinking about starting another full coverage? Yes 🤣 Happy stitching 💜

      r.e. the house by Dominic. You could always stitch up to the pages you were thinking of chopping off and then decide if you like it or want to continue!

      Thank you Kat! I like your idea for the Davison house, I'm doing that for my mushroom lodge. I might have requested an ornament version of the chart already 🤫🤭 I'll have to see how it looks before making a final decision. Happy stitching!

    Save Poo until a friend has a baby. I have a friend who knits baby clothes all the time and she has no children she put some in her the trunk and then give some to friends at work or relatives. Stitching projects make great gifts.

    Your silver frame finish is quite nice. Your two cats stitching IS fully finished. Framing is fully finished. Some folks go way to far on finishing, most of the time less is more.

    Hey Lidia! 👋 Great wip parade!! That kitten piece is lovely and you can’t see the hoop burn, it’s a perfect tribute to them beautiful kittens you have. 🥰 Your tray finish is beautiful! Well done you!! I have that piece to stitch eventually too! I think you can definitely do another 1000 stitches a month on your main piece and how exciting on that finish date that would move to!! I quite liked the circle cabin idea! Enjoy whatever you decide and see you next time! 🧵💗

    • @LidiasLeisurelyStitching

      Thank you! I'm so impressed that you can get in 5,000 stitches a month on all three of your pieces! I think I'm partial to the circular version of the log cabin too 💜 Happy stitching!

    Lidia, your Gingerbread Train finish is SO CUTE!! Beautiful progress on Simplicity and A Place of her Own.
    I think I prefer the HAED Cottage with the circle crop. As for the Pooh Latch-Hook, you could probably turn it into a pillow for a sweet gift! I could ask my mom how to do that if your interested.
    Enjoyed catching up with you today. 💗

      Thank you so much Holly! I think I'm really starting to lean towards the circle crop of the cabin! I'd love to hear what your mom knows about making pillows. Maybe you could message me on Instagram?
      I hope you are well 💜 Happy stitching!

    I just discovered your channel. Your HAED projects are amazing!! I’m working on HAED’s ‘A Stitch inTime’ and I love the full coverage, in spite of the confetti sections. The detail is worth the confetti in the long run for me. Although it’s often slow-going :) One stitch at a time.

    Loved your WIP parade. Labor day is coming up. A Holiday of any kind is always a good day to start a project. I'm thinking about starting another HAED "Trick or Treat" on Halloween. It is weird though with HAED's to think in terms of years instead of months for a finish date lol.

    • @LidiasLeisurelyStitching
      @LidiasLeisurelyStitching  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      HAEDs definitely take a lot of patience! I was feeling tempted to break no new starts when I filmed, but I think I'm going to be able to push through. I've been doing some calculations and I think I've come up with a plan on when to start a new HAED- I'll share in my next video.

    Hi Lidia, I will try to remember who said to watch you, I was interested in learning about all your heaven and earth designs and how you manage them. I told you last time that I am waiting for my peacock one to be sent to me. I would be happy to start mine at the same time you want to start yours?? Heaven and Earth design said it takes 90 days. I ordered it on 6/24/21. So hopefully soon!! Loved your finish, so cute!! Take care. 💜 💛🦚

    • @LidiasLeisurelyStitching
      @LidiasLeisurelyStitching  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Laura! I would love to do a start a long but I'm really not sure when I will start mine (I'm supposed to be doing no new starts this year so I'm being pulled in two directiond). I'm sure you are eager to start yours when the material pack comes in! Is there anything in particular you want to know about my full coverage pieces? I'm glad to answer any questions ☺️

    • @laurakelly492
      @laurakelly492 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@LidiasLeisurelyStitching Yeah, I'm just not sure how I will start the project. I don't have pattern keeper, so I may have to make copies to be able to highlight what I have done. Having a bunch of floss hanging down , I don't believe that will work for me??

    • @LidiasLeisurelyStitching
      @LidiasLeisurelyStitching  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I use pattern keeper now but worked on A Place of Her Own for several years without it. I made working copies of the chart and just stitched a page at a time. I used colored pencils to mark off the areas I had stitched.
      When people leave the threads hanging is called parking. I've done and not done it. I prefer to stitch with one color until the thread runs out or there are no more stitches of that color near by. If I run out of stitches before I run out of thread then I'll either end the thread off, or if I don't have any stitching nearby to secure the thread under I'll leave it parked there until I get more stitches worked in nearby.

    • @LidiasLeisurelyStitching
      @LidiasLeisurelyStitching  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      In regards to starting, are you getting pregridded fabric? I rely heavily on my grids. But remember it's just like any other cross stitch project, just bigger! I start in the top left corner, pick a color up there until my thread runs out and then pick another color.
