Amazing lyrics.
Your comments are always insightful! The theatrics and operatic nature infused in Rock n Roll…. Meatloaf had it all. :)
Meat Loaf was so talented ! Anything by him was theatrical, masterful and down right cool. I don't think he ever got his just dues, but I always loved his voice and his performances. Two Outa Three is another hit that was outstanding. I hope you will discover more of his work....never a disappointment. RIP Meat Loaf
The whole bat out of hell album is great songs start to finish!!! ❤
He's amazing in concert.
The video does tell a story worth reacting to. ❤
Excellent reaction, mate! almost my favorite meatloaf song , thanks for sharing this one with us.
Cor blimey, indeed 😂 Can't beat the combo of Meat Loaf and Jim Steinman... Sheer brilliance!🤘♥️
Great choice, Chris and I haven't heard it in a long time👍🤩. What a powerful and energetic roller coaster ride. I love the changes of pace that he handled effortlessly. And you're right, HAP, the song structure doesn't follow a typical pattern, but that's exactly what makes it so exciting and not boring at all. Thank you for another great and enthusiastic reaction, HAP🤩🙋🏻♀️.
Great reaction. I just found this cassette tape that I use to listen to while driving my lovely station wagon. Also found my Queens greatest hits tape.
Do Anything for Love by Meatloaf. It's a good one.
Woo! LFG!👍
This is the lyrical stylings of the late great Jim Steinman, who wrote the songs for Meat Loaf's Bat Out Of Hell albums, as well as "Total Eclipse Of The Heart" & "Holding Out For A Hero" for Bonnie Tyler, "Making Love Out Of Nothing At All" for Air Supply, and "It's All Coming Back To Me Now" for Celine Dion.
No one writes’em like Steinman and no one delivers like ML. They are simply incomparable!
Thank you for this information, "Holding Out for a Hero" is one of my favourites (by female singers) but I didn't know who actually wrote it. And all these other famous songs..👍
Great Great Reaction HAP! ❤️🔥❤️ Love Meatloaf! ✝️ May he rest in peace ❤️
❤❤So happy you reacted to this song, it's absolutely fantastic, Rick opera at its best!❤❤
Do "Paradise by the Dashboard Light" from the same live concert. It's fun :)
This is not a live concert. It's recorded on a sound stage to appear as if it is live. It's all lip synced
Already did
The whole album was fire. Try For Crying Out Loud, album version. No video but it is magnificent.
Somewhere in this house (with all the other vinyl albums) is this one. Probably heard it 100 times and thought I was going into this knowing the song. I think I'm losing my mind (or memory?) This didn't sound familiar at all. Very weird!
Hope u dont mindbu fine
