Hi G. Green, Although the IRCC official site did not show details on which programmes and courses would lead to (or not lead to) a PGWP, I would suggest that you write individual universities or schools to ask them and find out directly. In and around Toronto we used to see many PHD or MSc diploma holders (in fields such as computer engineering, medical technology....) picking up jobs easily but the large numbers of qualified people and reduced industrial demand narrowed the pathways for many international students graduated in the past 5 to 6 years. However, owing to COVID19, immigration slowing down caused a severe labour shortage in many parts of the country and if you qualify, you still have the chance of roughly 1 in 2 to settle after finishing studies. My former ward from Beijing applied on her own for studies when she was 15 (in 2017), going on the IRCC site to follow instructions and now she is applying for a work permit.
