      Not sure why people keep comparing to Saka. They’re different players playing different positions. It’s not Palmer or Saka it’s Palmer and Saka - they both should be playing and linking up for England

      Yeah, I remember that. Back during the Euros, no one really thought Cole Palmer would be in England’s starting eleven. He’s come a long way since then, but at that time, he wasn’t really in the mix for a spot. His rise has been more recent!

      @samono7726 14 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I'm a Chelsea fan but even I have to say you're talking rubbish! You must have been a kid in Rooney's rising. In fact, I'll do you one better! The quality of opposition Rooney played against at 17 no longer exists or are scarce. Palmer is yet to face that degree of quality in the league, in Europe, and in international competitions.

    • @Pure9Football
      @Pure9Football  14 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      It’s crazy to think how polished Palmer already is at this stage. Rooney was a beast, no doubt, but Palmer’s showing such maturity and finesse for his age.

    • @samono7726
      @samono7726 14 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@Pure9Football You're right! Two things can true. Palmer has been phenomenal. Rooney at 17 was operating on world class level he was gargantuan. At 16 when he was at Everton under Moyes he singlehandedly tortured Arsenal, and bamboozled Man Utd. He was a freak. Euros 2004, he tore everyone a new one until the red card which really ended England's momentum.
