Just a tip.. You can add purple shampoo to a white shampoo to lessen the chance of tinting or you can lather it up before you add it to your hair. Love what you did to your mom's hair! 😊
WOW!!!! YOU ROCKED THAT!!! Mom is so Beautiful and that color looks flawless on her! I also used the color remover before and it does work really fast! 🤩
Love the whole process.... you and your mom look like you two have a great relationship.....a blessing!!! your son is cute!!! outstanding results!!!!! Thank you for the step by step detailed process!
Wow! It turned out amazing ♡♡♡ So cute too with mama and baby ♡ I used to be platinum white for years, but bleaching is a pain both physically (scalp) and to do it right. Very wise using barrier ointment, and tons of hair masques in-between lightening. As a cosmetologist only thing I would have added was STB (stop the burn) and added an oil lightener bleaching system. The oil is a buffer to protect hair integrity and scalp burn, and STB is an additive that comforts and calms the scalp while processing. I'm guessing she uses a hot comb, so those items will help a lot for less breakage. The items listed should be at Sally's, not sure if you're licensed or not. Either way, cos black box dye?? Whuuuut! Amazing 👏
You did such a nice job ! I’ve been wanting this hair so long and I can’t ever get anywhere near that icy ❄️ I love it so much ! Thank you for showing us ! ❤
Thank you ❤️ She said it felt good until the second process. At about 45 mins in her scalp started getting irritated. So we deep conditioned & gave it a rest until the next morning.
Glimmer lights works ASTONISHING on Long, natural silky hair, that’s what I use after a full head of icy white bleach blond highlights, it tones perfect with my highlights mixed in with my light-medium brown natural long hair too. I guess it’s a personal preference! Way to nail the color, well done!
I love, love, love it! I have been trying to achieve this forever. Now I get it! I am not sure if you have done it before but I would love to know how to maintain this icy white without processing/bleaching every two weeks
Stylist checking in and love you did a beautiful job. Your mother and your relationship seem so beautiful and genuine. A Tip if I may next time you’re bleaching add a few packs of sweet N low to your bleach mixture it will prevent burning and if any parts of hair that you don’t want bleach on when doing a retouch add some conditioner to those parts first. And the purple shampoo you can dilute it with 1:2 or more ratio to bring down it tinting your color. I am from the 70’s era and we did all types of tricks with bleaching and toning back then. Be Blessed and keep loving on Mom.❤
I've been bleaching hair snow white for over 20 years and yours is the most accurate and honest detail of the correct process. Every other TH-camr gets to ASH or "platinum," but they never get snow WHITE. Just like you show, WHITE requires a multi-pass, multi-day process. My hair is naturally dark blond and it still usually takes me three passes with 30-vol to get mine snow white. Shimmer Lights grabs quickly, but it also washes out quickly, so you can freely use it between passes, especially since the bleach is going to strip out all your tone in the next pass anyway. When washing the last pass, I use it but I rinse quickly and don't let it sit on my hair long. Gets it snow WHITE every time. Your mom was a great sport and she looks beautiful! Congrats!
@@aoralex One way is to apply coconut oil to your scalp the day prior to bleaching. This has no effect on the oxidizing quality of the bleach, but it provides a bit of a barrier for your scalp against the burn of the 30+ volume developer. This is especially important when pulling white bc it takes me several passes over several days to achieve. Plus, organic coconut oil is always good for your scalp and hair.
Very nice I like; I am already full white headed and just wear mine. Gave up the struggle with hair dyes years ago and actually like my gray hair, but would you suggest this on already gray hair? I don't like the blue-blonde rinses either it turned my hair blue and I'm not one of those little old ladies that likes blue/purple tinged hair. Can do without it, but the Icy white, now that looks good.
I love seeing people smile with joy once they see the results of their hair🥰 I love my silver but there are times I want that platinum. Especially for cute short haircuts. Anyway… Great job🙌💐
Used to use effasol more than 25 years ago. Its quite efficient at removing color. I would use 40 volume peroxide go under the dryer with a plastic cap and get paper white w/out having to sit for an hour or do multiple processes.
In case no one knows, in addition to the deep conditioning, drench hair with coconut and let it dry in. Then moisten the hair and do the deep conditioner. That coconut oil strengthen deeply and helps the other deep conditioner to work better. Great tutorial, thanks!
After the first day and the "color remover" and bleach, her hair should've been toned to a white color. It was definitely beyond light enough. IT didn't need to be bleached again to white. I hope her hair doesn't fall off. She DEF better not put a relaxer in it bc it will wash down the drain immediately. ..she looks nice though. To keep it white, purple shampoo or conditioner or it will turn yellow.
The baby's voice in the background is so beautiful. Beautiful sweet baby. ❤❤❤ I enjoyed watching. And your voice is so nice for this video. Thanks and Be blessed.
I honestly didn’t know that dyes could repeatedly be used all at once. My scalp would have always being irradiated. What is the blonde lady’s secret? Learning experience for me.
Hey! It can definitely be done on locs. You would have to adjust the processing time, the amount of times you process, and the amount of heat, depending on the density of the locs. Definitely do a loc test before.
Hi Queen, how are you doing? The L’Oréal color remover you mentioned. Was it the L’Oréal EFFOSOL Color Remover? If so, I wonder why your Aunts hair turned that orangey color? Because normally it’s change one’s hair from black to platinum blonde. That not white, but very pale creamy white color. Tour Aunts color after you using the color remover looked like many who bleached their hair. The EFFOSOL color remover powder is the one that’ll take away that orange and turn it light. Using the L’Orél EFFOSOLis to avoid the use of bleach. I wished they allowed us to post pictures so I could show you how my hair went from black to a platinum creamy white blonde. That was too much bleach usage love!🤦🏽♀️ All of that bleaching two days consecutively would’ve taken my hair out. Please look up the L’Oréal EFFOSOL color remover. The purpose of this powder is to NOT use bleach. Check it out, the L’Oréal EFFOSOL color remover. It’s in a blue small packet. I to used Wella toner 118 or 110 to lighten it. The end result color is nice, but if you were to try the EFFOSOL color remover, you’re going to say that lady from Miami was right. So you bleach it a 3rd time towards the end after you got that Ash Blonde?😱 With the L’Oréal D EFFOSOL color remover. It’ll completely remove the red rinses from my hair! No matter if I’ve colored my hair pink, blue or whatever! That EFFOSOL color remover will turn it a platinum blonde. Not that brassy color your Aunty ended up with before you started the next phase. PS! You’re a beautiful BLACK Queen‼️ The shortcut you’re rocking fits you perfectly‼️🙏🏽🥰🌹
I want to try this color but I don’t want the obligation of touching up the roots every few weeks with the harsh chemicals, and it does look unattractive when the natural roots starts to grow in. However, I spotted a very short white pixie wig on line that I’m gonna order and have a stylist to crop cut it for me. Your mom looks great tho.
If you haven’t used hair color in a while your hair should be virgin (which is the best hair to work with) so the color remover wouldn’t be needed! You could just go right in with the bleach or color of your choice.
