In addition to his vast creativity, compositional and storytelling skills; Dimash trains his vocal instrument as dilligently as any other Gold Standard Olympic Athlete! * He works with the best vocal coaches in and outside the country. * Does vocal exercises for hours, daily, and has done since the age of 5 (so that's 25+ years already of vocal and musical training.) * Has studied every musical genre: from opera, to musical theatre, jazz, blues, contemporary / pop, even rap in addition to multiple traditional / ethnic vocal forms from a number of countries, in addition to his own. * Plays multiple instruments * Swims as much as possible to maintain and expand his lung capacity * Does various exercises, including martial arts to maintain his core body strength * And then there's the mental discipline. * He also tries to learn [ by ear - phonetically ] at least one song in the language of each new country he goes to perform in. Not because he has to; but simply as a mark of respect. [ hence sings in 16+ languages } - None of this would mean much, of course, if he didn't have a stunningly beautiful and uniue voice with absolutey perfect pitch. - Then there's his ability to convey and draw emotion, across laguage and cultural barriers. - His spectacular stage presence and...{Cherry on top } He's quite easy on the eye! 🤣🥰🤩🤩
Dimash is crazy busy lately! Concerts in Prague, Düsseldorf , and he just won an award in Dubai! Then released his new MV. Wow! I love this song, Sinful Passion. Incredibly beautiful, and the lyrics....... ❤
For those who like information about Dimas' songs: Sinful Passion - The story behind this song is very interesting: The band that accompanies Dimash is the same one that composed the song, without the singer who died after a heart attack! The band is also from Kazakhstan and this performance by Dimash revitalized the song. Moreover, in the final part he added, with an oriental technique (from the Kazakhstan region). The song was originally performed in 1998 and the band name is A'Studio (Kazakh pop music group based in Russia, "Alma-Ata Studio", Almaty city). The dead singer (who Dimash was a fan of) left the band in 2000 and passed away in 2015 and his name was Batyrkhan Shukenov. The lyrics are by the poetess Ilia Reznik together with Baigaly Serkebayev, who is the long-haired keyboardist, who we see in the video that accompanies Dimash. Hugs from Brazil! Original Version (A’Studio): th-cam.com/video/CN9fHwhna_M/w-d-xo.html
The trilling sound is called bleating in the English terms of contemporary singing. The Italian term of belcanto is caprino, although the caprino is not typical for belcanto which uses normal vibrato on nearly every note. The caprino was used in Western music in the baroque period and is often associated with the composer Claudio Monteverdi. Of course, Dimash has it from the traditions of Kazakhstan.
Catching the emotion within the performance 💓💗❤️❤️🔥🫠 Most reactors just miss the point or are 2🐓2 say 🤣😂🤣💦 This is just down right yummy 🥰 I’m speaking as true loving spouse 😘 I think Dimash is a very brave performer to sing a man’s desire 😍💓💗💖 SO DANG WELL‼️ Last 🌬 🎶 run was over 22 seconds ⏱ The song is by “A'Studio” 1998 They are some of the band mates preforming with Dimash 🎹🎸🤩 The gentleman standing in the audience in the white shirt is “Maestro Igor Krutoy”✨🎹✨🎼 He's a Ukrainian & Russian music composer, performer, producer, musical promoter & billionaire. Very famous‼️🌟🇺🇦🇷🇺 He came “Out of Retirement” to work with Dimash. When you see him at the 🎹 with Dimash you can bet he’s the composer and or collaborator of that song. They’re Vast Friends Now 🎼💞 & ALL 🦌🦌 ARE GRATEFUL 🫠 The most impressive part is his ✨ “Honor & Spirit” ✨ ❤️2U&ALLU❤️🦌🦌💫🌎🕊️🇺🇸
Interesting reaction 😊 The middle eastern technique is called a Monteverdi trill or a goats trill, which he masters perfectly, among many other techniques 😊 The translation is a bit off. The chorus, pronounced "day mne", means give me, not let me. You still don't know what Dimash can do after only listening to. Sad to hear that you feel other songs from him are a step back after S.O.S. 🙁 It is the complete opposite for me but I still love listening to my first S.O.S ❤
It's not that I think the other songs are worse than SOS, it's just that that one was the first impression, and it completly blew me away. After that one, I kind of expected to be blown away, if that makes sense.
This is a cover of Sinful Passion originally by A´Studio. The bass and the piano players were part of that band and the second was one of the songwiters. 9:07 the greeting/farewell to the spirits inherited from Turkic/Tengrenist traditions in certain muslim tribes in the ancient Turan to pay homage to the ancestors and spirits of nature. In Spanish I know it as "hammering vibrato" or "glottal vibrato". In Iran I heard they call it "che-che". It is not yodeling but an ethnic technique relative to yodeling but needs more control on the notes you sing than in yodeling. 3:50 SO DIFFICULT songs that make the singers cry - 2 (ENG SUBS) th-cam.com/video/x3EWBd-1S5k/w-d-xo.html And after that a run of "only" 24 seconds huh!
The Caprino, or goat trill. Supposedly he uses it here as a tribute to the previous singer who died in a heart attack in ~ 2015. This song showcases his range and vocal techniques beautifully. I love it, but he doesn’t seem to perform it any more. Here he performs with the original band. The pianist wrote the song.
Hmm, Dimash has extremely different styles of vocals and music and I note you have a tiny number of videos you have watched and listened to of Dimash. For a more current viewing, try an official Music Video he released this year, "When I've Got You" th-cam.com/video/CTjmvlMnclE/w-d-xo.html and "Smoke" MV th-cam.com/video/8AgDoOjBeoc/w-d-xo.html
suggestion: tell us just once how much you won't be stopping? saying it every time is more annoying than stopping, which, in fact, is totally fine, that's what happens in a reaction video, no?
It's a matter of how much, how long and for what reason. Basically stopping is natural irritating to a listener. You get involved and then it gets cut off to make some obvious point.

That was amazing. I knew it felt long, but I didn't realize it was that long.
