I have a bunch of layers videos coming up in December. I had stayed off videos in that subject since Creo 4, but it’s time that I finally fill that gap.
how would you tie the layers to the layers in the view manager? I would like to have a combined state where I have a certain orientation, with a certain simplified rep AND hiding some quilts, would hiding the quilts be done with layer in th eview manager? Thanks!
I personally don't... there are Layer States. I admit I have not investigated the functionality in years but I did not like it. Back in Creo 4 they added the ability to manage the display of datums associated with annotations by the settings of the Combination State.
Thanks Dave Martin , I have learnt a lot from your videos..I will now try to use isolate when I want to use specific parts in assembly.

Is it possible to hide all the datums of parts in the assembly however the datums will still show when the part is opened separately
Thanks in advance
