Unlike in English where we have past present and future. In Hebrew we have imperfect and perfect tense. You either will do something or are in the process of doing something, or, you have already done something. When God tells Moses “ehyeh Asher ehyeh” which means “I am who I am” or “I will be who I will be” that is a hint as to who God is. He is “he who exists.” Really, it is not important how it is pronounced, the ancient Hebrews did not think abstractly, they were concerned with the function and purpose of a thing, not so much with what it’s visual or audible aesthetic qualities are. God’s name is “he who exists” Yeshua (full name is yehoshua but it was shortened to Yeshua around the 2nd century BC and so it was likely the way Jesus’s name was actually written) means “God saves”
