▬Description▬
New Super Mario Bros. Wii[a] is a 2D side-scrolling platform video game developed and published by Nintendo for the Wii. It is a sequel to New Super Mario Bros. for the Nintendo DS and a part of the New Super Mario Bros. series. It was released in 2009. A high-definition remastered port for the Nvidia Shield TV was released in China in December 2017.[6]
When Mario, Luigi, Blue Toad, and Yellow Toad are celebrating Princess Peach's birthday in her castle, a large cake appears. Bowser Jr. and the Koopalings emerge from the cake and trap Peach inside. The cake is loaded onto Bowser's airship and it takes off, with Mario, Luigi, and the two Toads giving chase. The Toads in the castle grant them access to the new items, the Propeller Mushrooms and Penguin Suits.[42]
After traveling through several worlds fighting the Koopalings, Bowser Jr., and Kamek the Magikoopa, the Mario Bros. and the Toads arrive at Bowser's castle. Bowser is defeated but is revived by Kamek, who casts a magical spell that transforms him into a giant. Bowser chases after Mario and the others, destroying everything in his path, until Mario finds a large switch and triggers it, causing Bowser to fall through the ground and releasing Peach from her cage. Peach and Mario depart from the castle in a hot-air balloon, with Luigi and the Toads following behind.
The credits are shown as a minigame where the letters in the credits are written on blocks, which can be broken by the playable characters to get coins (all four characters appear, but only the ones controlled by players can get coins). After the credits, Bowser Jr. and the Koopalings help Bowser out of his unstable castle, which falls over and traps them.

I'd love one in the style of the SNES sprites but translated in 3D. Much like what the RPG remake is doing. So the characters' designs would reflect the sprites and that time period of Mario and Luigi's designs.

I’m here to give whoever made this the credit they deserve and say this is great for a fangame
Let's be honest though, for a shitty bootleg or ROM hack or whatever this is from Brazil, this is actually just *sort of* well-made. It's impressive that they made all this, plus the custom music, all for something you'd think almost no one would play.
Yeah, it's lazy, but this kind of feels like something you'd see from a really weird version of Mario Maker, especially how they used NSMBW's assets and remade the levels as close as possible.

Fun fact: this game was a different hack made by a different team until the guy who made the whole game decided to release the hack by slapping thousands of jpegs and reskinned models (The jpeg parts can be seen more in the other spinoff titles that are in this rom hack)

It’s definitely a good concept. The level select menu needs some work and the photoshop on the game select menu needs work too. But if nintendo did release a Super Mario all stars HD remake. This would be the concept. Just their work. HELLO NINTENDO?!?!? GET STARTED FOR THIS ON THE SWITCH

The first level was actually well done aside from the tilted pipe not launching you, the regular Piranha Plants being used instead of the Jumping Piranha Plants from the original level, and the goal pole not being changed

Overall it's crude, but I have massive respect for the work that went into this
The idea of recreating super Mario all stars on nsmb Wii is a neat idea but this was executed very poorly. The low quality jpegs used for enemies,level tile sets and bosses (especially that god awful reznor fight), makes this hack terrible.

The Reznor boss fights in this mod are an insult to actual boss fights in video games everywhere

Okay, shut up. He isn't a a skilled nintendo team of developers, nobody forced him to make it, he just made it for fun, he even recreated the soundtrack. And YOU are saying it was made poorly.
Out of all the other games in this mod (which were godawful) this is the best one by far. It looks and runs the best and plays mostly like the original except for the physics and the mechanic where you have to ground pound the yellow blocks to make them spin. All in all, some optimization will take this hack a long way. The Bowser fight at the end could be a lot better as well.

I especially loved how they recreated the Koopalings boss fights, while not faithfully. I would have prefered if they retained the original designs and battle mechanics (ex. Lemmy Koopa could have had his SMW design with long teeth, white mohawk and his old moveset of spawning from different warp pipes in the battlefield) instead of recycling the same movesets as NSMBW.

Koopalings difficulty are according to Super Mario Bros 3. In that game, first to seven are Larry, Morton, Wendy, Iggy, Roy, Lemmy, Ludwig. But in Super Mario World, it's Iggy, Morton, Lemmy, Ludwig, Roy, Wendy, Larry.

CraftyPixel It doesn't just look bad, though. I downloaded this hack, played it, and, well, there are TONS of glitches, including several multiplayer glitches. From glitches that already exist in the original game, such as clipping through walls using 2 block tall spaces and 2 players, to several glitches that should work in the original or in Newer Super Mario Bros Wii, but can't be done due to stage layouts, settings, etc., such as clipping through floors in stages with the camera tracking the bottommost player, using pipes to clip through walls by having one player enter a pipe and another player go to the right to off-screen that pipe, which results in the other player spawning at the left side of the screen, even if there's a wall there (This glitch should also work in Newer Super Mario Bros Wii, as New Super Mario All-Stars HD is a romhack of that romhack, but, to my knowledge, none of the stages allow that.), as well as several new glitches, such as the final boss in _Super Mario Land_ being unbeatable, the _SMB3 World 6_ boss not working properly and 6-Airship also being skippable to allow progress, being able to get on top of the invisible walls in the Iggy fight (didn't test it with the Larry fight yet) in _Super Mario World_ , being able to take free control of the character in the autorun airship scene in _Super Mario Bros 3_ and several (not all) ending cutscenes by using 2 player mode to enter the cutscene area while at least 1 player is in a bubble and 1 player isn't in a bubble, which causes the other player to just stand still in the next area, but still being able to pop the other player's bubbles, letting them explore the area freely (Note: Some areas require more than 2 players and it can't be done in some other areas because of the players spawning on top of the area off-screen.), etc. But this is FAR from all the glitches in this game!

Miniboss 2 - Reznors 1:12:25 (2/10 What the...)
Boss 1 - Iggy: 10:02 (7/10, decent, I wish he had his old pattern in which he used do drop fireballs instead of spells)
Boss 2 - Morton: 23:03 (6/10, why is it so difficult? It's only the second boss, also he doesn't climb walls, but he is still fast when spinning in his shell)
Boss 3 - Lemmy: 41:35 (4/10, they nerfed him *a lot* in this mod! Also no buddies, no podoboo, not even him coming out from warp pipes!)
Boss 4 - Ludwig: 49:43 (9/10, nothing to say here. Probably the best battle as it is the most faitfhul to the original.)
Boss 5 - Roy: 1:02:02 (5/10, again, the purpose of moving on with the path is to encounter harder challenges, this boss on the other hand is too easy. The walls are in the same position as last time and the arena doesn't tighten itself.)
Boss 6 - Wendy 1:16:58 (7/10, pretty decent, as with Wendy's pattern of casting rings works here. Why do those lava bubbles pop out from nowhere while in the original there weren't?)
Boss 7 - Larry: 1:37:20 (7/10 Just like Iggy's fight.)
Boss 8 - Bowser: 1:52:39 (6/10 Nice battle twist, but why does Bowser have Bowser Jr's voice? Also it's not as faitfhul to the original, where are all the fire attacks?)

For original of this game. Iggy and Larry are the same way to beat but Larry's has 3 jumping fire. Morton and Roy are the same but Roy's wall will get narrow. Lemmy and Wendy are the same but Wendy's has two flying fire. There's no one same as Ludwig.
Two things missing... In original Super Mario World you were able to destroy the yellow blocks here 1:47 and later the pipe shoots out the mario..
