This is BY FAR THE BEST TUTORIAL I have EVER watched and APPRECIATED!! for someone like me who has just learned about baking, this was so great to learn. ALSO I desperately wanted to make this cake but NEVER thought I would learn how. I thank you for caring enough to talk all the details!! You rock! Seriously!! Thank you, thank you, thank YOU!!
Karen Marshall thanks! I always try to talk you guys through each step because it's easy to skip over something or go too fast. Everyone learns differently❤
Great video, but you should dry you scraper & then your cake board won't be as wet. Also just an FYI, spinning thing is called a turntable, not a trundle. A trundle is a bed. Otherwise you did a fantastic job!😊
This was an exceptional video that included step by step instructions on the making of the Hennessy Cake. I am going to give it a try and would love to share a pic of the completion of the cake. Again, GREAT JOB!!!!
Omg hunni I am finding more and more of your great video's. I told you stay with your crafts and the blessings will come. I'm so proud of u, now let me learn this cake 😍😍😂😂😂
@@warmheartfamily Yes!! Again keep up the good work and thank for sharing ur crafts. My son will be 21 on the 29th and hubbys on 27th. If we can go outside 😂😂😂 I would love to buy the liquor to make this cake yum😍😍😍

I will try this cake for my sons birthday on the 1st march 2021 , thanks you for sharing ... I have scraper but has no luck with it si I use a knife 🤦♀️
Wow this is so detailed! thank you! So we don't need to put dowels in the cake for support? I was thinking the alcohol might make it collapse or something
You can add 1/4 cup to 1/2 cup to the batter at the very end. So the last thing that you mix in should be henny. Tou should go light though. 1/4 cup and than add hennessy ganache to the top for the drip part. The ganache video is on my channel as well.
Teresa Biber you can put it on anytime before you frost it. after they came out of the oven I let them cool than put simple syrup on them and wrap them in seran wrap until I'm ready to frost the cake.

heres the recipe and instructions. Ingredients ¾ cup (170 grams) unsalted butter, softened 1½ cups (300 grams) granulated sugar 1¼ teaspoons (5 grams) vanilla extract 1 teaspoon (4 grams) almond extract 2¼ cups (281 grams) cake flour 1 tablespoon (15 grams) baking powder ¾ cup (180 grams) whole milk, room temperature 4 large egg whites (120 grams), room temperature Instructions Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Butter and flour 2 (9-inch) round cake pans. In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, beat butter and sugar at medium speed until fluffy, 3 to 4 minutes, stopping to scrape sides of bowl. With mixer on low speed, gradually add flour mixture to butter mixture alternately with milk, beginning and ending with flour mixture, beating just until combined after each addition. Transfer batter to a large bowl; set aside. Clean bowl of stand mixer. Using the whisk attachment, beat egg whites at medium speed until stiff peaks form. Gently fold half of egg whites into batter. Fold in remaining egg whites. Divide batter between prepared pans. Bake until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean, 25 to 30 minutes. Let cool in pans for 10 minutes. Remove from pans, and let cool completely on wire racks.

If you want to a triple layer do you just double the recipe
Double the recipe if you want 3 thicker layers and a bit taller cake. Otherwise, just add another half of the recipe
