  • This video describes the bidding for 12 hands and the viewer is challenged to make a bid. The hands review the use of Gerber, Jacoby 2 NT, Smolen, control bids, weak 2 opens, slam bidding, and 2 NT feature asks.

    On number 6, you don't need to cue bid, just bid 6S after 3S, you are missing only one ace. No risk of messing up cue bids.

    On board 9, even if diamonds break 3-3 you'd have a very hard time getting more than one trick unless you can get the opponents to play away from their ace twice. So it's far less than 36% chance.

    Board 3, east has 14 cards, so you should probably not bid at all, but call the TD :)

    Board 2, you'll not make 6NT if opponents lead a spade.
