Hey, if there is an scp that is literally a cola that overdoses you on caffeine and adrenaline to make you go faster then i can understand it being like this.
I mean, the whole thing with the SCP universe is that ANYTHING can be real, the only limit is the setting of the foundation and a writer’s imagination. I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s a bollard that emits the energy of a nuclear reactor from sheer existence lol.

@@AffectionateLocomotive Technically, the radiation effect in the room would become to much for any human role, so the main concern when we're talking about campers is SCPs.
Edit: I've been informed that the radiation effect is not in the base game, but exclusively in the Dr. Bright's servers. But to summarize the effect: it deals damage (in the way that it does pauses between each amount of damage dealt), and this damage progressively increases in amount the longer you stay in nuke room.

Yeah, the new update decreased performance by a lot, wait till they move to Unity 6 then it will get even worse
new elevator makes it so much harder to grenade trap and juke out scp's, the doors close a bit slower now and scp's can just divebomb down onto the elevators to get an advantage on you, I'd imagine if you put grenades in the elevator 173 could tp onto the top and evade them entirely, but it feels more balanced since nuke is no longer a fort where people can camp all game
You can however throw grenades down the elevator shaft, which might be fun.

Ngl don't like the whole "Skip the whole elevator trip and jump down" thing whatsoever, a big thing about elevators in SL is the salvation that they provide
You're getting chased down? Get into an elevator! Sure, maybe they'll keep going after you but at least you've put some distance between them and you, bought yourself time. With this, though, using a (nuke) elevator during a chase is a death sentence because whoever was after you (even humans in some cases) can just jump down the shaft and kill you anyway, lol, either that or juke to live (which is something we already have a lot of, this game is already as competitive as it is, Northwood)
Hoping that if this is a permanent change, then that it's nuke room exclusive and won't be featured in other elevators

I think they should make it so that the little hole on top of the elevator has a trapdoor of sorts that closes while the elevator is in motion to avoid an attack in the elevator from the SCPs, as the time the elevator takes to get down is enough for any SCP to kill you. Or alternatively, the space that says "If you can read this and you're not using noclip to get down here, please let us know lmao" could be used to escape from an SCP, and a vent down to the nuke room or a vent up to the base floor could be placed there to escape.

Seeing as we can now interact with different floors from the same floor, will there be the possibility for grenade lineups to clear close angles? I think I might also be dropping grandma down there every chance I get.

Feel like they put way too much focus on the actual nuke panel room. If you just hold that centre room right before it you practically have the thing on lock while also having that cover with the boxes against anyone who goes through the vents and attacks your position.
Not to mention how easily you can juke/run from scps now that the layouts essentially one big infinity symbol.
If they want to hold far enough into box room to cover vents and both sides, they're exposed to attacks from 2 sides still and vent rushes if anyone gets around you, so you're always in a disadvantageous situation when defending. Plus you can get flushed out with nades lol
@@soly7948You don’t need to hold vents if you hold the centre room because you can at least see players going into the vents if not shoot them.
And if you have ears you should be able to just pivot to the side the elevator came from, shoot, and retreat if need be. The elevators being open also means attackers have to commit otherwise they risk riding up with an easily placed grenade if they retreat.
Getting pinsered when you’re alone is bad, yes, but if you have anyone other than yourself to hold side hallways with you you’re gaming.
The only time I see defending being disadvantageous is either you get pushed back to the panel room or are outnumbered. Cause by defending you have positioning while you know where the enemy is coming from and can plan accordingly.

not a fan of the goofy ahh fnaf 6 vents, seeing mtf and chaos just run around in the roblox scp:rp vents and fall from the ceiling is gonna atomize the immersion. there should definitely be alternate paths in there but not stupid vents with edgy graffiti that somehow no one found in the completely open giant vents
Maybe the grafitti was put there after the cascade containment breach started, so no one had the time to clean it?
