My favorite group of all time. I was lucky enough to see them several times. They came to the New York State fair and we took turns saving our seats. I HAD to be front row center for both shows. Can't think of any other group I would do that for.
Just can't get enough of these guys! Such a Class Act! There'll never be another like them! I listen to them every day in my office from morning to night and they sing me to sleep every night. Good thing my husband likes them just as much. WE LOVE them! So sad that we lost Harold.
yes this is beautiful it almost brings me to tears. And yes it is another song about real life. I miss these guys so much. We have nothing even near as comparable these days. I don't know where they get the singers. Maybe I am old fashioned but I miss the music and the greatness of these guys
@@williamkeck7378 I am 71 now too. I have heard interviews of people that lived around them and knew them. They have all said that the success and fame never changed them. Their music was always quality. They wrote many of their songs too.
Was so thrilled to see you live with the Carters and Johnny back so long ago in LA Crosse, WI. and I went back stage and was so star struck I could only think to ask for Johnny's autograph...RIP Harold your deep tones brought goose bumps that a voice could do that. Bless all and the families, you are forever ❤ and as American as Apple pie. Thank you for all of the years of beautiful songs and memories.
Oh that break my heart, The Starlet Brother was a big part of my growing up years and when our children were little. How I loved them. Some day I will get to see them in Heaven. Rest in Gods love Harrol
@@aletamull5207 yes I realize that. My middle daughter is up there with him. It is just sad to us that we won't see them here anymore. They are n ot suffering, or sad about anything
Leona: It is a departure for them, but I love it anyway. I simply love their music. If this had been recorded back in the days of 45 rpm records, I'd have worn it out in one day.

They will ALWAYS be my favorite group of all time. And I'm 71. There have been a lot of groups over those years.

The Staler Brothers are the BEST
Bar none! They certainly are
Rest in peace. ❤️
One of the best songs they have ever done...it is beautiful in both melody and words. It is another song about 'real' life.
I felt some old pain too Marcia, thank goodness for the memories, good and bad .
Rest In Peace Harold, that beautiful voice will be missed.
Harold was always such a positive person. It was terrible to read that he had passed away.
Not So Awful He's In Heaven Now.

Christian but not pious or harshly judgemental of others....
I will miss that great bass sing with the rest of the group and I used to go up to the lunchroom with a friend and listen to all of your songs
I never heard the Statler Brothers sing a cheating song before. Don't like it one bit!

They've had a few
There have been a fair number .. it’s honest .. I have ever album and an entire album could be made up of good old cheating songs..
