13 years ago, I added this video to my "favorites" playlist. I thought it was an incredible quality timelapse. If you compare it to today's videos, it's like GTA 3 versus GTA 5. But it's still breathtaking.
it is incredible how nice the streets and roads are.. I didn' see any single hole or bump over any street the asphalt looks flawless.. i wonder how they do to keep the streets like that.. and with all the incredible amount of heavy cars bus and trucks. and also how clean it iss... just incredible
I've remember seeing Cat2525jp videos as a kid back in 2010 as it brought me here to Japan today ! I used to rewatch this video ao many times imagine life in Japan as Tokyo is so advanced with Hi-Tech infrastructure
wow sugoi ne. nippon ni nikai itta koto ga aru, kedo unten shinakatta. this is cool to see a view of driving around in tokyo and the music is nice too. the best thing on youtube is when people share their experiences like this.
This could be called art. Greetings from Poland! And we are with you. I hope that you will recover soon from this horrible earthquake and tsunami.
Fantastic drive! It's amazing to see what the roads are like in Tokyo. I agree: some of those intersections appear somewhat confusing! Is that your drive to work each morning?
I want to go to Tokyo so badly!!! It's the most beatufil city in the world!!! Well, not the most, I still love Lisbon, but Tokyo is a place that I've never seen, in person, and it seems so good to live in there...
I live in Canada and when i'm waiting at the train station I always put my bag on the ground, my bag starts to look dirty after 3 months or so. After i went to japan for a week the bottom of my bag was black, and there is no soap or toilet paper in many public washrooms in Japan... but as for garbage disposal they do very well, there was no littering even in the most busy public places that i could see.
Wow, great video, music flows so well with the video and timing is really good in some spots. Great choice of song. Thanks for sharing something that is so simple, but you made it so sweet.
WOW that was really really great! for a while I thought that my yonger brother is playing a racing game ,,,,, I wanted to see the street signs in detials but the speed was a little bit high thakns 4 sharing.
Tnx alot, someday I'll visit Tokyo and master (well atleast comprehend it and make myself understood) the japanese language.Driving on the left side of the road will definatly keep me concentrated.
The biggest city I've been to is probably Seattle..but I've never been in the very heart of it. But I would imagine Tokyo dwarfs Seattle's size..I can't wait to visit Japan..Hachioji will be nice as well.
As a hungarian, i just can't belive, how they can drive on the opposite side of the road :D But as many other people sad it befor me: I want to live in Japan, not for a lifetime, but I want to learn a lot about that amazing country!
really good video man, and music, high prophesies... two things i find strange though.. despite the fact that it's morning in this video, a city of 30 million people, and the traffic is really thin and i see almost no people on the streets... straaange =)
Tokyo is so clean from the looks of it. In NYC theirs bums and just trash erwhere. And everythings old as hell and the subways arent safe. Everything about Tokyo looks new and clean and safe. I wish we had monorails..... we have to underground into subways.
YY!!! Really awesome, and it is only the rich, medium part of the city, by what I have seen , the poor regions is really bad. Anyway I love Japan and specially Tokyo.
Thank you for another great video. may i ask around what time this video was shot, since it doesnt seem to bad amount of traffic, or was it a weekend/holiday?
Love this. I don't know why people keep saying "I can't believe they drive on the wrong side of the road". There are quite a few countries that drive on the left, and it's not "Wrong". It's just different! :)
Midnight Club 3: Dub Edition Remix on the PS2 had a bonus Tokyo Challenge in the game. Rockstar's version of Tokyo at the time wasn't as modern or beautiful as the real city of Tokyo, at least the AI driving in Free Roam was accurate (Cars drove on opposite lanes to the American stages). I do agree with you though, they should make a Midnight Club: Tokyo edition game, with better city details and adds more cars sold in Japan (like the Nissan Stagea 260RS, Mitsuoka Orochi, or Suzuki Cappuccino)
@Mike0256 Well, you can't generalize Europe, cars are very expensive in for example the Netherlands but they're rather cheap in the country right next to it, Belgium.
I've been watching this video since Fall 2010.
13 years ago, I added this video to my "favorites" playlist. I thought it was an incredible quality timelapse. If you compare it to today's videos, it's like GTA 3 versus GTA 5. But it's still breathtaking.
Oh yeah, I remember watching it at that time and the quality looked crystal clear at the time.
@@Cal3000 Same oh man the nostalgia hits hard...
Clean, modern, ordered ,efficient and dynamic . What all cities should aspire to be
it is incredible how nice the streets and roads are.. I didn' see any single hole or bump over any street the asphalt looks flawless.. i wonder how they do to keep the streets like that.. and with all the incredible amount of heavy cars bus and trucks. and also how clean it iss... just incredible
Fantastic video! Thank You! Beautiful city.
I've remember seeing Cat2525jp videos as a kid back in 2010 as it brought me here to Japan today !
I used to rewatch this video ao many times imagine life in Japan as Tokyo is so advanced with Hi-Tech infrastructure
I love watching these videos on full screen, it's like riding in a cab and touring around in that city!
Thanks for sharing! I really missed Tokyo. This sure brings back memories when I worked in 六本木 back in 99.
I miss this incredible city a month just wasn't long enough

You're not the only one. I could trip on this guys videos.
Tokyo is so wonderful...
Tokyo seems to like a nice place to live.
I like all your videos ❤❤
Tokyo is surreal to me, being from a small(ish) English town. So vast, so slick, so modern. This video is excellent. Cry from England.
Cat, stunning vid and drive. I'm going to have to watch the rest.
That is one amazing massive city. The biggest in the world. God bless Tokyo.
4:23 on the left hand side is the hotel i stayed in from my holiday to japan, Happy memories of that area. :)
This could be called art. Greetings from Poland! And we are with you. I hope that you will recover soon from this horrible earthquake and tsunami.
well done Japan good going mate you have built yourself up very good.
I feel the butterflies in my stomach when I watch this... want to go back there ♥
I am surprised by the relative lack of auto traffic - it must have been very early, or a holiday. In the US, the roads would have 5 times the cars.
Simply wonderful! Never seen Tokyo like this. Still so quiet on the roads too!! WOW!
Fantastic drive! It's amazing to see what the roads are like in Tokyo. I agree: some of those intersections appear somewhat confusing!

Love it! Makes me miss tokyo even more. Is there some bloke falling down at 0:17? Left side of the picture

Has a very futuristic feel to it
Wow, great video, music flows so well with the video and timing is really good in some spots. Great choice of song.
Thanks for sharing something that is so simple, but you made it so sweet.
very beautiful city...THE BEST
tokyo looks very cool im very interested in going there but do to the fact that i speak english it may be a little difficult.
Since I view your videos, I feel more confident that I can drive in Japan without trouble and I love the videos you posted so far. :-)
But this is winter though, besides, the parks are located outside the city core as in all major world class cities.
Never thought id just sit still quiet for 8minutes watching a video of someone driving a car, but i did.
its like a dream...wow how did they built a city like this? amazing
Thank you for your comment!
Howdy, from Texas. Great video. I felt like I was playing Midnight Club 2!
It's "Eden" by A-bee feat. Kaori Okano. :)
maguindanao in the philippines..
is the best city for living..
feels like being inside a Need for Speed -Underground game. Cry from Venezuela.
I sit at 3 AM, all lights are turned off and i just play in HD that kind of videos, on full screen and I imagine that I'm in Japan... ;)
WOW that was really really great! for a while I thought that my yonger brother is playing a racing game ,,,,, I wanted to see the street signs in detials but the speed was a little bit high thakns 4 sharing.

For those who haven't visited Tokyo.

Very Well done mate. Love your Videos !
Tokyo is such an amazing city!! I wish l could live there!.
one of the safest in the world. as a developed country japan is unthinkably safe.
i was impressed by this video! so wonderful!

what a wonderful city. japaneses are very lucky
What time is it there? Is it early morning? The same traffic is in Moscow at 7am
Love this. I don't know why people keep saying "I can't believe they drive on the wrong side of the road". There are quite a few countries that drive on the left, and it's not "Wrong". It's just different! :)
