I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart got these for a Valentines gift and only used them a couple times because this terrible noise started. So glad I finally stopped being lazy and TH-cam’d it. Thanks a bunch😊✌🏽
Jasonedgepro Hey Man, please need help. My andis master is new and it makes this loud sound . Its not the tension of electricity, its not the side screw, nothing work. When I turn the screw to the right the sound appears so I cant turn it more. And it doesnt cut I'm all the way to the left ( The screw ) . Can you help me ? We can talk in private or skype.
Thanks for the video! I hope someone can help me.. I haven’t touched it because I’m too nervous.. but the ‘do not touch’ screw on the side of my clipper is sticking out pretty far past the housing on the bottom side of it. Is that normal?
Samantha Lotts the bottom screw should be flush with the housing on the side towards the cord. This gives the correct factory spring pressure against the arm that moves the blade. When we train technicians on these I always say you can make the Tool worse by moving the big screw never better.
Jason Sturm I haven’t touched it or adjusted it at all but it’s definitely sticking out on the cord side. Not flush. Is it possible that a drop would have done that? And will it cause a problem? Thanks for your time! I have no repair centers near me :/
Samantha Lotts it’s in a threaded hole so not from a drop. If it’s been like that from the factory, then it has been wrong the whole time. Does it perform how you like it? If so it’s ok. If not then this would be one of our first corrections. Then the power screw adjustment like in the video. *always have a clean & oiled blade before testing adjustments on any electromagnetic clipper. Use some type of blade wash then oil both the front and rear rail of the blade then make the adjustments. If you get stuck call our help line 9-5 central time Monday-Friday 866-963-1990
Jason Sturm it is weak and only cuts some of the hair so I have to go over and over it.. but it hasn’t always been that way. I will try the power screw adjustment and go from there. Thank you so so much for your help!
My master tension loose up by itself after i cut 2-3 heads and moved the blade to the right and makes the loud sound. Any idea how to fix it from moving by itself?
Sometimes the adjustment screw will back out by itself. In this case we will back the screw out and add a drop of blue Locktite to the threads. Then we will put the screw back in and adjust the clipper. The blue Locktite works great to hold the screw but still allow you to move it when necessary. Hope this helps solve this issue!
