The voice has a rhapsodic freedom, and a true beauty at its core...at once defined and generous with ambient resonance. The commitment is from the heart..the pianist has a superb grasp of the harmonic colours and breadth of the phrase...I am enthralled by this performance. I am proud to be an Australian. Please, can anyone name the pianist? Strauss is a collaboration by necessity after all, even in a competition..or moreso then. Norma Marschke
