I had two thorns, I unequipped them both for a better dodging window. I defended for the first two attacks (scepter and quick stab) then I used slingshot on cruel king till he called for help. Once he called for help, I either sling shot the crossbow guy, or used dynamite + saved up venom shank. I also had power rush to purposely get increased damage since it was damage less run anyway. Then I defended for long stab, and just kept repeating.

Great strat, but I'm pretty sure the second attack can be a call for help too! I've also learned CK's attack patterns.
