The branches appear dry. It looks like the sakura trees are very slowly adapting to the climes and soil. Be that as it may, I hope that they survive and if they survive, they won't disrupt the local biodiversity in the area.

@@jujuamber5471 Indeed, that is my vantage point as well. Besides, we must promote what's naturally ours. However, the cherry trees had already been planted. It's not like we can uproot them. As such, we can only hope that these few exotic trees will grow healthily vis-à-ˈvis hoping that they wouldn't pose a threat to the local biodiversity.
Eh? What can 30 sakura trees do to harm our country?? It’s custom of the Japanese to give Sakura trees amongst their friendly nations. Plus, those trees only grow on cold places, So it’ll likely just grow on Baguio and nearby places.
@@jujuamber5471 If we rely on our indigenous plants & trees we won’t enjoy our fruit trees such as guava, caimito, macopa, papayas, pineapple, good varieties of citruses, jackfruits, rambutan & lanzones; vegetables produces such as lettuce, pechay, corn , cabbage, broccoli, green beans and many more! Even in the U.S. all their fruits including apple, pears & peaches except for pawpaw & American persimmons are not indigenous. I think it’s just ok to grow foreign fruiting & ornamental pants & trees as long as they’re not invasive nor disease carrier

Hopefully they can propagate them en masse at least inside the park by air layering or marcotting . In fact the family of cherry can be propagated by cutting . The more the better. In Thailand they a variety of Himalayan blooming cherries that are growing & have successfully bloomed in altitudes pretty much lower than Atok. The colorful blooms look almost similar to Sakura. I hope they can cultivate these Himalayan blooming cherry trees as well. Hopefully in Tagaytay or in Baguio.

yong sakura tree dito kahit maliit palang namumulaklak na cguro dahil may winter season dto at dipindi sa lupa at lamig ng panahon.dto kc yong mga puno ng sakura sa park pag winter nawawalan ng dahon bago sisibol yong maliliit na bulaklak pero ngayon dahil pa summer na halos lahat ng puno sa park back to normal green na uli clang lahat

Janus Sigue Kung puro endemic trees ang itinanim natin wala tayong bayabas, atis,caimito, siniguelas, kamatis, mais, malungay, carrots, cauliflower, repolyo, roses, sampagita at marami pang iba. Sa Thailand lahat sinusubukan nila at nakaka produce sila ng ibat ibang prutas na masasarap.
