Whilst I was in the North East, it would have been rude to refuse travelling on a semi preserved B10BLE I saw up there! In this video I tell you why ex-GNE 4922 is back with them this year alongside some other A-Line vehicles operating on behalf of Go North East on a variety of contracts. We also take a ride on a few buses, showing how these vehicles are fitting in too!

At the start of the summer another company Henry Coopers coaches used 2 of their B7RLE’s for 1 day on the 49/49A and another was Stanley Travel helping out another few services. This was a good experience to see the old vehicles return to there old routes

II remember seeing a bus in the old Go North East livery in Newcastle and I honestly thought I had just imagined it! Thanks for clarifying it was real! Do you know if its still in use now (July 2022)?
Just a slight correction. 4922 is owned by Dan Annis and then on loan to A-Line Coaches by Dan.
This particular issue is UK wide with many operators affected I'm afraid. It's a mixture of drivers leaving the profession due to being fed up with the bad terms and conditions, of bus driving as well as the recent DVLA strike. The DVLA are responsible for processing, producing and distributing new licences (Including renewed licences) to all qualified drivers but the strike leaves a massive backlog of licences in its wake! Any driver with an expired licence will be unable to get into the depot or drive anywhere for that matter.

How come the engine sounds different on the smaller tiny version? For example the Yorkshire tiger ones sound different to the larger versions.
You could have bought a 5-25 ticket for £4.50 mate. Takes you everywhere

I used to catch the X66 to work, and was very unimpressed with the interiors of the B7RLEs. No branding, and still dealer stock seats.
Aye the branding maybe basic but it must be said it is only a short route and for that they do the job alright
@@AndMoreCentral Aye. They were decent buses and it was nice to have some volvo action in an otherwise non existent landscape. I think that route could do with deckers or bendys (as it used to have) as it gets really busy sometimes, even at a 10 minute frequency

Go north east only have buses on loan because they can't afford to purchase any more new buses because they have just purchased East Yorkshire bus company but the services
Are very poor as they don't have enough drivers as they went bust in Newcastle as they use to be stage coach Newcastle

Hi their go north east bus company was stagecoach
Newcastle then changed their name to the yellow bus company then went to great Northern transport
Then to mainline bus company
Then back to go north east bus company then they left Newcastle for HULL which was East Yorkshire motor services now just go bus company after go north east sold east Yorkshire again because the tax man is after them who where national express
Who where national holidays who where East Yorkshire Mr Peter shipp owned untill he retired and sold to go north east bus company who has now got riff of all of our spank brand new audio buses and vintage buses and coaches and they have also got rid of the brass band which use to be all of the eyms drivers and staff

13:35 the voice do not trust that man I will name names but he cannot be trusted his name is Richard aka Kenco and do not trust him he is a bully he has bullied me I know his history background and he is dodgy last I saw him I was with my work colleague and he turned up in a place I didn’t want him to BE there my work colleague doesn’t like him because of what he has done to me and I love her she has saved my life from his mother once accidentally his mother is loud I can list the crimes she and him have done he’s been told by the police to stop bullying me but I hope it works p.s I know his address his family live in Luke’s Lane Estate in Hebburn
