I have never made a meatloaf,,,but hamburger patties with a can of creme mushroom soup spread over them,,then sprinkle onion soup mix,,bake in oven... Serve with english peas or green beans creme potatoes,, slaw,, and crunchy cornbread!! Sooo good!!! My husband worked farming,,would be 10,11 pm when we ate. I always thought had to have a hot meal ready!!!

I noticed that your oval slow cooker shown in the beginning was not actually the one you used, that you used a round one to make this. I also have both. Any reason for the switch? This looks absolutely delicious. I like to mix all the ingredients besides the meat together first and let it sit for about 10 minutes, and then mix it in with the meat. It seems to make a more tender meatloaf, although this meatloaf looks like it was mighty tender!

You mentioned making homemade mashed potatoes but real butter In my opinion is healthier and better than the margarine. I'm going to give this a try with a lean meat. Thank you for sharing
I will have to try a crockpot meatloaf! Leftover meatloaf sandwiches the next day are great!! Green beans and cream potatoes are wonderful with meatloaf. I've also tried a cheeseburger bacon meatloaf!
