Each season Silver Dollar City rolls out the red carpet to welcome guests for unique experiences. Fall being one of the most wonderful times of the year, they have outdone themselves this year with the Harvest Festival filled with crafts and pumpkins in the city. Across the park over 15,000 pumpkins await you. Craft vendors and artisans from around the Ozarks have converged to bring unique items for purchase and skilled masters demonstrate how to create some of the most intricate works you will find! Come with me to spend the day at Silver Dollar City finding the best crafts, music & all the fun fall festivities in Pumpkin Square and Hoot Owl Hollow!!

My husband and I decided after all the pressures of this year we are taking a trip to Branson this Christmas and taking our family. We have rented a place they call a treehouse that we think the grandkids will love. Because of your videos we will have plenty of things to do. Thank you for always keeping such a positive outlook and sharing your contagious personality with us. Watching this video really brought a smile to my face. Silver Dollar City is now calling our names.
Well I am not happy that you have had a lot of struggles this past year but am that you will be taking your family for a get away at Christmas!! I think I know which treehouses you are talking about and if so... those are soooo fun!!! You will enjoy all the wonderful things to do in Branson for the holiday itself.. there are only a few things happening that I don't already have videos of.. and I hope to return to Branson at the beginning of next month to possibly get those as well!!!
I thought visiting during Christmas was impressive but I think I would also enjoy seeing all the crafts this time of year. You have given me reason to visit during this time next year young lady. Between your two videos you really shared a well rounded experience. Thank you.
There is a trick to it.. if you come the last week of October you can catch Harvest Festival and then on the first week of November is when they roll out Christmas.. so within a 7 day span you can do both!!
How you manage to out together such great videos without missing anything amazes me. It was like I was back again in the park! So good.

Thank you for including a few of the musicians. We really enjoy being able to see people perform. It is nice not to just walk around all day. Between this and your last video about the food we would most definitely come for this festival. It appears there are a lot of options and some very talented people there.
No problem!! The musicians are wonderful and I feel like sometimes because of copyright they get left out of videos by people. (which I totally understand as to why)... but Being able to see variety is nice and being able to have a taste of what you might find is a great way to determine if the park entertainment is for you!! They also have a great Saloon show which has a little comedy and dancing to accompany some singing and then they have even more amazing musicians throughout the year that rotate into the mix!! The app is so useful for finding things on an hour by hour basis as the listings pop up in order of what is about to happen next at what stage but for an overall look the Pathfinder is still a great way to get around!!
What a fun festival to take the kids to. Looks like they have a little bit of some thing for everyone. Our kids would have so much fun at the dance party.

Our favorite act at the park has always been the Homestead Pickers.

I love all the colors around the park. Everything is so beautiful looking. Whoever they have on staff that does all the themes and landscaping has Disney quality.

I would have to agree! During the day there is a beautiful fall theme that is magnificent! But at night time is when the park really starts to come to life with all of the pumpkins. It is a wonderful time of year to visit and I will be back!
We missed the carver thank you for sharing this, my kids want to make pumpkins after visiting the park. This will be handy!

I just went to Disney and now I am planning on making it here by Christmas since I will be changing job assignment locations. Looks like such fun! I will have to look into that! I come there pretty frequently and it would be interesting to see what they would suggest I look into… I have a few videos from this area coming but I will be spreading out a bit but I cannot wait to share them…
I appreciate they are celebrating fall without it being about haunted houses. I think there are enough of those kind of places, this is nice.
Silver Dollar City has always done a great job of being very inclusive to families!! They have really done an amazing job with this Harvest Festival.
The potters were fascinating. I could watch them all day.
I love watching them also.. it is so neat to see how they create such amazing pieces. I am obsessed with all the things I have seen them make.. I would love to learn how to make things like this also but it takes a lot of practice and time
I am going to say it because I don't think anyone else has. The pumpkin carving guy taught me more than a few things I had never known. Apparently my entire life I have been carving pumpkins the wrong way! Thank you for sharing his instructions. I feel like as an adult this knowledge is something I should have known years earlier.
lol... right.. how to select a pumpkin in itself was insightful.. I put more of his demo in the video than I typically would but I thought it was sooooo helpful to us all...lol

We went to Dollywood and it was ok, this looks like a lot more going on. And girl that food you showed had me hungry.
I haven't been to Dollywood to compare the two festivals.. so I can only speak on the Silver Dollar City.. and it is amazing!!!!!
Those pumpkin carvings are fantastic! I can't believe how much there is to do now at Silver Dollar City. My parents first took me there when I was in third grade (I just turned 65!) and all I can remember being there at the time was the train, a stagecoach with a team of 6 horses that you could take a ride on, a blacksmith shop and a few other crafters and maybe a food place or two. Wow, so different! But I thought it was awesome at the time, regardless! Thanks for sharing!
Oh wow!! Great memories!! They actually have the stagecoach from the original silver dollar city there again as a part of the traveling cowboys featured in this video!! It is amazing how many things they have and yet how they keep the same values and family friendly environment!!!

I love this part! There’s always a lot to do and see. I encourage everyone to visit at least once in a lifetime but in reality it more than once… You have to see the different seasons and festivals…
We love Silver Dollar City! Weren’t planning on driving down from St Louis til November for Christmas but after seeing this we will be finding a hotel if we can this weekend. You really sold us on needing to go after seeing what was on the menu and the new set up! Thank you!

OMG yes! This thing is massive and so cool to see. But I think my favorite part was that it isn’t just about the big creations it’s all of the tiny details that’s around them that make it a full picture.

When you visit a park with over 15,000 pumpkins it would be wrong not to show as many of them as possible!! They are everywhere but it isn't just that they are everywhere.. it is that they are so amazingly put together and themed!!! I think it is one thing to be able to have pumpkins placed with landscaping but bringing them to life in such a way that they are here is another feat all together! Silver Dollar City really has changed the way that people can celebrate fall with this one!!
@@BunnyPlaysHere Well I have seen a lot of theme parks attempting to do fall and this one tops my list now. Perhaps it is the way you shared it or maybe the music you used and shared from the performers but all together this experience looks a lot better overall. I also like that you didn’t just focus on the big rides and showed what there is to do other than those.
The pumpkins are the best i have ever seen. They are absolutely beautiful. The feather 🪶 Paintings are amazing and so beautiful. She is truly an amazing detailed artist. The crafts and rides are absolutely the best part. I used to go to Dollywood in my days off just for that. Oh and the food. The fresh porkrines are the best and don’t forget my all time favorite the funnel cakes yummmm. I love your videos because you never let a crowd of people stop you. You are not shy or embarrassed and that’s why I absolutely love your adventure videos. Your a master at what you do.
I feel like you cannot be shy and do a very openly public TH-cam lol when filming locations sharing the experience is the fun part and that means stepping out and fearlessly raising a camera and talking about it!! I love what I do and hope it inspires others to visit these places and have their own amazing experiences!!!

They don’t do the spooky gross stuff they keep everything very family friendly which is something really nice about this park!!!

It gets pretty busy out there so I usually just find a place to take in the shows. I am not much for rides anymore.

I think the crafts they share are such a HUGE part of Silver Dollar City as a whole. There are so many talented artisans and crafters who are present for the festival and it is wonderful to see!!

I didn’t feel much more than that I try not to film the process from start to finish because I know I won’t be able to use the entire thing in the video… But it is fascinating to see them creating different things. If you ever get a chance to go to the park I definitely encourage you to do so.
I have never been at Halloween time. Very cool. I went to the Omaha Zoo over the weekend. They did a Ghouls & Glow that was cool. Also went to a really cool things called Scary Acres. Got to take pic with the Jeepers Creepers guy.
This was my first year to go but I knew I really wanted to since the food was themed and such.. and just to see the pumpkin sculptures was so cool!! Scary Acres.. I haven't heard of that one... sounds like fun!!!!! Jeepers Creepers always was a movie which kinda was low key scary...lol... I mostly did light hearted fall stuff this year because my end of the month and beginning of the month are so crazy busy with van related events!!

I love this park! At the potters place I saw a piece that I have right where he was working. My house is loaded with pottery just love the stuff. Oh I see there are more potters out there OH MY and the feather artist is amazing too. This was just amazing! Sat here wowing constantly
If you love pottery… Then you have to visit! I truly enjoyed watching the process yet again… And they are always making something unique. Not to mention they have the additional crafts people who were in the different pavilions and there was another Potter… I picked up some of those ornaments that were shown in the video for my mom because I knew she would love them!
Phenomenal! My favorite pumpkins were the herb pumpkins outside of the cooking school. Way cool! What a fun experience. Thanks for taking us along!

We went to Dollywood a couple of years ago and saw the glowing pumpkins, but this park looks like there are more pumpkins. Really enjoyed seeing the music here, seems there are more shows.
This one does seem to have a lot of really amazing things that are unique... I have seen Dollywood but have not been the theme is very different but I believe because they are sister parks they likely have some similar people behind the scenes making the pumpkins themselves happen
Back watching this one again almost a year later. Less than 3 weeks till my second favorite festival opens this year. I can hardly wait.

I know we have spoken about this before but I am now traveling in a van. I really love fall and Halloween but didn't know where to go to see something really truly great. I thought about going to the big places like Salem or Halloween Town in Oregon, but both seem very crowded and hard to find a place to stay at a campsite. This looks like a great alternative so I will be heading there this week. Thank you for suggesting this and showing it to me. Where did you stay if you don't mind me asking? I have a small van, don't really need much in way of power or water because I am self contained, but would like something with a shower maybe. Glad I subscribed to your channel for van stuff an that you do things like this also. Hope to meet you on the road one day.
You will love it! It is such a great place to go and visit because not only is there this park but there are so many other things. In fact I have an entire playlist of all of the fun things I have done while visiting the area.
As for a place to stay… I personally usually stay out at table rock Lake State Park. For a basic site it is $13 a night which is perfect for vanlife. They have a very nice restroom and shower facility. And they also have a place where you can dump your black water tank if you have one. The park itself is very nice and accessible to a lot of different things. If you’re visiting and want to hike there or hiking trails very nearby. There is a visitor center nearby that was not open when I last visited however it might be when you do so check it out… Also if you work from the road just up the way is a coffee shop with amazing Wi-Fi that you will definitely love to office from. And when it comes to Halloween there are some really fun haunted houses in the area over by Branson West.

Absolutely!! You both would have a wonderful time here.. such a great place to explore and have fun!! As for camping.. there are several options... right next to the park basically Silver Dollar City actually has a campground and you can get a little discount for park visit and stay. However, honestly, I prefer Table Rock State Park because I don't need amenities such as electricity and the price point is only $13 for a basic site. They also have a great location for getting to other points of interest without always having to use the main drive through town, which is sometimes a bit more congested.

I think all of the seasons in the park are amazing.. Christmas is still my favorite time of year for the park because of all the Christmas lights. I love love love the park at that time because I am a HUGE fan of the holidays!!!
I wonder how long it took for that one guy to do all those pumpkins. That had to take at least a year.

Do the street performers have specific times of year they are in park or are they year round? My wife and I really love that aspect of Disney and enjoyed it at Dollywood also. Makes the park enjoyable.
Throughout the year they are everywhere.. they do change up a bit during the Christmas season and they also have additional performances such as carolers
