The best option to avoid government-enforced regulations and dictates is to live where government is small, weak, and more accessible to corruption. All governments are corrupt, but poorer ones enable everyone to participate in the corruption, unlike in the 1st world, where only the very wealthy can do it. So, in the case of the vax, many people in third world nations simply bought their way out of it. Of course, I have no first hand official knowledge of any such activities.
@@paraguaymike5159 did Paraguay require it?
@@sadiemakesmesmile I understood that. I asked a straight forward question
@@paraguaymike5159 in Latvia a good percentage of the population bought fake certificates, most of the them coming out of Germany. Then, when testing clinics got 'overwhelmed' people were allowed to buy empty vials and bring in their saliva for testing instead of doing it on the spot. Hence, everyone who had already tested positive was spitting into everyone else's vials so suddenly there was an 'upsurge' in positive cases and a whole lot of people got certificates that allowed them back in the food stores and back on planes. And everyone was still doing business via 'back doors' anyway. You have to kind of admire that. People really stuck and worked together against the poke mandates. Not to mention the 'tea parties' where, when someone tested positive , everyone in their circle gathered together to catch it as well. Hardly anyone had any trust in the government and their forced mandates. Of course, this is only hearsay. ;

None of the 5 places listed by the Insider is ideal. They are all first world nations, with high population density, mostly in the Northern Hemisphere. I have been living in Paraguay for the last 15 years for more than one reason.
My contractor was a Paraguayan in Spain and he said Paraguay is dangerous and poor.
@@judymckee5992 Paraguay is definitely poorer than most North American and European countries. Which is what makes it attractive. It translates to lower prices and a better quality of life for foreigners. It also translates to smaller, weaker government, which means more freedom and less intrusion in citizens lives. This was a big point in my decision to move here from the States. Paraguay is experiencing increasingly higher levels of immigration, mainly from Europe, for exactly the aforementioned reasons.
As far as danger is concerned, I have been living here full time since 2011, and can say that Paraguay is safer than most cities in the US.

Europe is Cursed ! I lived there during the best time in Wiesbaden, Germany from 1984 to 2000. Before the wall came down it was absolutely beautiful and elegant. After the wall fell the older generation warned repeatedly that you can not blend East and West Germany because " OIl and Water Do Not Mix !. Meaning Western Capitalism and Communism do not Mix: One system will destroy the other. Then they were terrified of absorbing the East German Stazi Secret Police into West Germany !.
By the time I left Weisbaden it was a shell of itself": Economic ruin by 2000.
When living there visiting all the old ruins of Castles throughout West Germany you heard from Tour Guides a repeating Theme : " The 100 years War, The War of the Roses, The 30 Years War, WW1 and WW2 they are all over due for WW3!
Switzerland is very creepy! You heard absolutely nothing in Germany News or TV on Switzerland: Silence. Just this year 2023 on TV in the USA there was a facinating documentary on the Extensive network of massive underground Tunnels everywhere regardless of Mountain ranges and citizens tasked with keeping them clean and ready ! Like Ants they have a plan to disappear underground in the event of anything they cannot deal with on the surface. The problem with considering any European country it is very important to know if they are connected to WEF, Chattem House or The Council of Foreign Relations and The UN ! Reason being is that these selfish controllers all are brainwashed with Eugenics: Scientific Racism. Yep, former penal colony.
@@pl7578 I live in Aus too. Theoretically it would be great if people didn’t need a licence to hunt or fish, but as we saw in the lockdowns couldn’t even fish on a boat by yourself without being harassed by authorities! When they clamp down again no one will be able to leave the ring of steel police blockades around Melbourne like they did last time. People couldn’t even leave 5km of their house, Melbourne metro or even the state let alone the country. It will happen again and be even worse, the noose is tightening after this brief period of respite.
Andrew, if there is an "apocalypse", and you’re not already living in your escape country, you’ll have a very hard time (maybe impossible) getting to these "far flung" countries. Unless of course you have a PRIVATE jet…
Private jets during a meltdown will be the first to be destroyed. Look at what happened to Prigozhan when his plane was shot down over the suburbs of Moscow.
I work on private jets. None of these countries are good. Look to NON EU and third world. NOT these!
That's why we gotta go now dog it's better to be prepared than be waiting for destruction to occur we could already be in the forest and off the grid 💪💪👍
What about countries that wont be implementing CBDC's? Id be keen to move to one of those.
And places that are crypto friendly

Which countries are those? Agenda 2030 have been in the plans for hundreds of years, I don’t think they would leave any country out of their control
Go to one of the second or third world countries if you want to avoid cbdcs. Any country that does 90% of its transactions in hard currency vs electronic forms, is a good bet
Asian countries are using cbdc, most ppl do not even understand they are actually doing cbdc transactions on a daily basis, they just find it easy. There are websites where you can see which countries are already using it and if they use it for retail and/ or individual use and those that are still in testing phases.. most of the world is in sadly in a way or an other.
Best places would be countries without US military base and no nukes therefore ... therefore Paraguay is a good option
Also, the availability of inexpensive farm land, low taxes, low population density, ease of attaining residency all make Paraguay a good option.

Uk….errr ….no…..it’s finished. So is Ireland.
Paraguay has the largest aquifer in the world. George Bush bought up huge acreage while pres.
Using the stated criteria, the US would rank above the UK, Australia, and Ireland. Given its geography, location, and fertile land mass, as well as general demographics, the *RURAL* heartland of America (also known as "flyover country" to elitist coastal snobs) beats anywhere else on the planet to be during a global apocalypse. Ireland is soggy and cold most of the time, and generally a miserable place to live. Large swaths of the Australian outback, away from population centers, would also rank substantially higher than the UK and Ireland, except for the fact that everything that lives in those areas is trying to kill you. As a food source, nothing beats the oceans, and warm climates are far better for human survival than cold. Equatorial coastal areas, and islands, will always be havens of human survival. And if you're not already at your chosen fallback location, do you think you're going to just jump on a plane and fly there, during an apocalypse? Spend a fortune on a passport, only to realize its only value is as a fire-starter after SHTF. Bureaucracies and long-distance travel are the first things to collapse when the world is on fire. When the grid goes down, millions will die in the first weeks because their smartphones can't tell them what to do.
Since the U.S. is in the northern hemisphere, that's an automatic loss for radiation circulation during a nuclear war. And the U.S. is a superpower. That is another detractor. Get out of super power nations.
adhawk, you're right on point about possible survival!!
Spot on about everything except Ireland being cold. It is chilly but it rarely snows and freezes. Very similar climate to the Coastal Pacific Northwest in the US. Tons of agriculture in both places, the food in Ireland was farm fresh everywhere we went.
I've researched and watched many videos, and the USA is still a great choice for many doomsters to park themselves. Having access to self-defense means makes a world of difference.
Brilliantly stated!!
The sad truth is , where ever there's people there's problems ! There is no escape !

moving to a foreign land for an apocalypse is such an odd idea. People would be inherently more tribal and closed off in such a situation (based on how people act whenever an empire collapses, apocalyptic literature is fairly accurate in this regard) and being an obvious foreigner makes you a target.
With not much help from our government. We have to think for ourselves. Maybe not the best option but it's a choice. It will be everyone for themselves and a text message.

Locals and expats. Learn investing and networking etc. Go back to the USA with the drive and motivation and knowledge from the experience and person (A) is now 18 and by the time that person is 21 you can figure out how to live 80-100 percent out of the USA likely on a beautiful beach with beautiful people for pennies and live a life they could make a movie on..
For example in playa del Carmen I had an apartment on 5 and 15 (3 blocks from the beach) for 150$ a month. I fought an MMA fight on Cozumel island with my Columbian girl friend there. I rented a Jeep Wrangler and ripped it all over the island. I made friends from all over the world. As far as Latin America is concerned you mentioned Uruguay (which I do agree, especially for being "boring"...I was raised just besides, on the brazilian side of the border; love the emptiness of their countryside and the contact with nature).
Now I am surprised you didn't mention Paraguay, especially taking into account the points you considered. Bear in mind Paraguay - besides being more affordable and less bureaucratic than Uruguay to obtain the provisional residence permit - is the most conservative country in the Mercosul region (where one can be really left alone and develop business with a minimum state intervention), else their government did not sign J. Kerry's stup1d document coercing countries to reduce agricultural production (allegedly to reduce carbon effects and 🐂 💩 of the like). Once the so-called "Via Bioceânica" (i.e. the road linking the Port of Santos-SP to the ports of Chile across Paraguay and Argentina) gets completed, this tends to revolutionize the country's logistics infrastructure, which will add considerable value to most investments. They also have a rather interesting "Ley de Maquila" which is similar to Mexico's. Works like a tax haven in many senses, though not perceived as such. No gun control laws (in Uruguay either, though I hear carry permits take a little more red tape to obtain there). #My20c
Agreed: Paraguay was a BIG miss on this video. Maybe Andrew is keeping Paraguay for himself in the apocalypse. Paraguay is also a net exporter of food which of course means there is plenty of available farm land. And Paraguay sits on top of the largest remaining fresh water aquafer in the world - the Guarani Aquifer. And being in South America in the southern hemisphere like many of those other countries is mentioned is insulated for the most part from a northern hemisphere nuclear war. It has both one of the cheapest temporary and permanent residency costs in the world, and a solid, legitimate path to citizenship naturalization in 5 years now. (It just increased from 3). It is also a net producer and exporter of power due to mostly hydroelectric power.
@@Learned333 , absolutely. Else the price of farmland in Paraguay is fractions of Uruguay and Brazil. I've seen cattle breeding areas for as low as US$ 700 per hectare (less than half of the cheapest ones in Uruguay, along the border with Brazil).

Hey Andrew! Thanks so much for this series. I'm actually a dirt poor person in comparison to most people watching this series (my joke is 'I'm a 5 figure income earner... A MID 5 figure income earner 😁") but i've secured a Dominican Republic citizenship during the 10 years I lived there and it feels good to have a way out if things go south in my country of birth where I currently reside. I do qualify for Irish or Scottish citizenship by descent. I'll look into that. My Mom got her Irish passport years ago too. I find your knowledge and advice very valuable even though i'm not in the running for huge tax savings etc. that the more wealthy could benefit from.
Thanks for sharing, Martin! Good luck with it!
Finally someone from DR. May I ask you a question.
Didn’t you find that country to be too obedient during the pandemic though? As for place to run to when we have nothing to say anymore in our country I would hope DR would be more laid back and make its own decisions.
I've never ever earned enough to be liable for tax so that aspect doesn't concern me.
A few years ago, BC (Before COVID) I saw a video from the Filipina Pea, "Come to the Philippines! Meet a lovely traditional, Filipina woman. Get married. Make love. Make babies and live happily ever after on a tropical island!" I thought, "Gee, that sounds kinda nice!" I have been paying off bills and trying to arrange savings ever since. I was pressured into moving from NYC to PA, which has been an expensive change. But it's nice here and I am getting on track, again, to paying off bills and saving cash. I plan to travel maybe end of this year and early 2024. Then maybe picking a new country to live in in late 2024 or 2025. I am retired. My retirement income is adequate. (I would be rich in the Philippines! Or maybe Mexico. Probably Ecuador too.) I am thinking of Philippines, Mexico and Spain. I have Irish ancestry and may add Ireland to the list, mostly because of your videos. Maybe Ecuador too!
Keep in mind US is vastly expanding its military presence in Subic Bay (Philippines) to prepare for war against China. If you move there, it's quite possible you'd be literally at ground zero for WWIII.

Retired Canadian here. My travels (75 countries and counting, including living in HK back in the eighties) taught me a few things that should be at the top of the priority list: low crime rate, access to health care, cultural adaptability, nice people, and affordable. Lately, I have added a non-woke culture or government.
So, that list puts a red flag over most of Latin America, due to high crime and questionable medical services outside of a few large cities.
Portugal fares well by those criteria, and perhaps Spain. Surprisingly, so does Malaysia. And, for those a little more venturous culturally, Thailand and Turkey. I dont know enough about eastern Europe to assess. But beyond those few, the challenge of attaining those criteria above grows considerably higher.
Almost nowhere in Africa comes close to qualifying. India is a challenge. China is out of the question. And the anglosphere, despite huge advantages, is so deep into wokeism we might as well call them communist, or close to it.
@@briandriscoll1480Africa is in my bucket list but I would not live there the whole year. I think if you do not know Africa, it is scary because what you comes from mainstream media.
I think Africa is the best place in case of an apocalypse. No nuclear weapon around and food will not be an issue as Africa moves away from Western governments looting. If you are white, choose your country well. Kenya will be better thwn South Africa for example. Also, in Africa, you would need to sacrifice certain things. It is indeed the biggest culture shock there.
@@Rachidasister I've been to Africa a couple of times, mostly in and around Capetown. Beautiful place but no place for a white man anymore. As for food, the outdoor markets I've been to, including in Madagascar, seem well stocked with produce, but it's a continent with food shortages and a burgeoning population that is running out of welcome mats elsewhere. Honestly, and sadly, I have a hard time coming up with alternatives should SHTF. Odd as it may sound to the uninitiated, India (been there three times) should be on the list, as most Canadians could afford to live well there. You just need to pick your spots.

The US government's policy during the pandemic was a big eye-opener for me, especially when most of my family and friends believed in all the government pandemic policies. A Colombian passport sounds like a great option, especially as I've lived there for a short time and enjoyed the culture and lifestyle. Other countries in Central and South America and the Caribbean seem great. Colombia has great city living, and a great respect for horse farms. Of course, I frequented Dubai during the pandemic as it was the most open for me and my friends. Latin America is really the best for me; Dubai is the best for having friends visit me. Unfortunately, most family will not visit me if I'm not in northern Europe or Switzerland. So the different passport options depend on how connected I want to be with other people. I think Bogota or Dubai would be my favorite options in another pandemic scenario.
@@TotallyNotBrandon In an ending world what you need is a resource land where it can grow food and water, very unlikely to do in Dubai.
When you're in the apocalypse what matters less is the money and more what are you gonna eat or drink and Latin America despite its political mess, it is a great place to survive in such event and even better since basically almost every Latin country is lawless and you can manage to do things more easily than the red taped western world.

They work the land, tend to their animals, grow food, fish, hunt, have asados, ride horses, play rugby and football in all types of weather.
