We have visited the Queen Elizabeth II Sunken Garden at Windsor to enjoy the Cherry Blossom which can be seen at Japan. But we were lucky to see the beginning of cherry blossom in Canada as summer came earlier at Windsor.
Jackson Park having more than 10,000 plants, is undoubtedly one of Windsor’s foremost attractions. Visitors to the Queen Elizabeth II Sunken Garden’s can enjoy the flowers of the season; hundreds of tulips in April-May, followed by the abundance of summer perennials and lush annuals. The park features some of the most magnificent formal gardens and fountains in Windsor.
The Jackson Park World War II Air Force Monument, located at the centre of the park, features replicas of a World War II Hurricane and Spitfire as a memorial to the war veterans. It’s just beside the Queen Elizabeth II Sunken Garden.
The both park’s beauty is too memorable as we have seen some cherry trees, tulip flowers, daffodils and many other trees & beautiful flowers.
But also felt sad seeing the monuments & war-crafts and the names of Canadian soldiers who died in World War II.
