I was going to the stiffest, segregated church in my area. When I first started attending 5 years ago, I couldn't help but throw my hands up in the air, close my eyes and sing and move with Thanksgiving, and eventual would sit on the edge so I could get out of my row to dance. Sometimes I would look, and of the thousands in attendance (now 42,000 at 8 locations,) maybe 10 had their hands up. Why was I looking around? It was more like, "HOW CAN YOU NOT!? How can't you not celebrate Him and what He's done for you?!" I hardly ever go in real life anymore because the church has grown , and there still is nobody ACTING like God is there- after listening to this message, I realized maybe God ISN'T there, but is only there with those who are there with Him!? Now *that* would make complete sense. I believe the Kingdom looks like the churches I love to attend online - Transformation (TC Nation what's up!?) Elevation, and after hearing Pastor Tim at Transformation, I've discovered Embassy City Church. I don't want to forsake the body, but I can't find anywhere in the Twin Cities that TEACHES the Word AND has God's presence THERE at the same time, AND also looks like what I picture heaven to look like- multicultural and multiethnic (like my high school out East) and multigenerational. For now, Imma praise Him with ALL MY MIGHT... in my living room!!! Thank you, Tim- you are called, anointed and a blessing to us.
Love your messages Pastor Tim. The HS is telling me I really need to express my love for God even more during worship and remember everything he brought me out of and the blessings that he's walking me into
