Wow! Culture's are really different! We in Jamaica don't fry fish and stack them on newspaper on the side of the road. The vendors instead sell the freshly catch fish packed on ice, and we buy them and take it home to prepare ourselves. I don't think I would eat those exposed ones at all!
Dust and dirt flying everywhere onto the fish, not to mention saliva and who knows what else coming from chatter at the table add to the poor sanitary environment you referenced. A no go for me also.
@@sharkwaters-xb9kc It is not useful to be disrespectful especially on social media, because the term keyboard warrior will then apply. The observation about the fish is very relevant. Peace and love from Jamaica.
@@sharkwaters-xb9kc Here we go again, throwing insults around. You don't know who I am, or what I do. Did you know that being insulting is a classic example of limited education? Now don't go soiling yourself, I didn't say you suffer limited education, I made a general statement applicable to all, but somehow, I see it coming. Either way, I get the impression you are African, which makes you my brother/sister, which compels me to respect and love you. PEACE AND LOVE.

Caster after peeling the banana or plantain take the skin and rub it all over your face and see a difference in the texture of your face smooth and silky.
Those complaining about the fish on the side of the road, we have up eating and snacking on them with or without bacteria and are still here eating them while travelling the world tasting yours too. Also frying in advance is preserving. We are very fine with our lake lifestyle and business for the farmers and vendors is a big boom when it comes to Tilapia, Omena, Fulu, Ngege etc. Come to East AFRICA
Those fish already surrounded with flies. It's normal business in that settings and the customers eat the fish just like that flies on all no problem to them. That's their culture.
I am at 6 minutes but I want to get my bearings, which village is this that has such big town vibes? Here in Jamaica a village has one road going through it, two if we're lucky. Big up that young man for advertising Jamaica on his chest.
You are right, that is Migori town the headquarters of Migori County far from their village.Just like your parishes have a capital that you can't call country..right?
We Jamaicans on a whole would not but that's their culture. I have been around my African friends at work and the odors of the of the locker room at lunch time is beyond words. I ate in the park to avoid the smell.

@Nevaht I agree with you, should be in a container and covered. They appear fried and ready to eat. The habit will only change when shoppers refuse to buy it.
