@@maverickmaybe Not sure if it's 10 years old but it's definitely not a recent episode of the show. The sofa for guests was replaced by chairs for each guest due to Covid. I think this interview happened shortly after first Thor movie came out.

The level of comfort that Graham brings his guests to- this man is an absolute legend.
A great talk show host. From the set up to the convivial atnosphere. Theyve got their wine to loosen them up, he asks engaging and funny questions. And all round national treasure.
I love that he has multiple guests on at the same time too. And he handles that very well. Spreading the questions out amongst them all and having them interact with one another. Drinks to loosen them up and make things comfortable. My favorite talk show lol

I met Natalie Portman around 2007 when I worked for an airline in India. She was traveling in the first class cabin and I remember her dessert had a tiny dead fly in it.she asked me if I could replace the dessert for her and I was little nervous I had not noticed it as it had never happened before. What surprised me was unlike other celebrities and famous people, she was extremely polite and gentle .she didn't make a fuss and kept a very low profile. When she stood beside me I noticed she was so small and petite even though I am only 5ft 6inches tall.

Reminds me of a southern restaurant chain I worked for years ago called
"Po Folks".
A lady called me over, and said " Look at this".
It was a badly eroded grasshopper, missing pieces of it's legs......in with the turnip greens.
Bring very cocky at the time; I looked at it and said to her; "I'm sorry ma'am, but I'm going to gave to charge you extra for the meat"
She had this quizzically surprised look on her face gor a split second, then started laughing hysterically.
She ended up talking to the District Supervisor who just happened to be at the store, and gave him money to give to me. She also told him the only reason she was coming back to the chain of restaurants to eat again, was because I had made her laugh, and turned a negative situation into a positive one.
Still a great memory.

I was in the Graham Norton Loop for about a year once the COVID lockdowns started. He's such a good host and has great guests who he [mostly] brings the best out of.

Not so much as Padme Amidala in Star Wars, but she certainly acted circles around Hayden Christensen. I'll chalk that up to working for George Lucas. She's good. You've helped me convince myself. Here's hoping another Mathilda or Evey role is given to her soon.
