"Søtt salt og sprøtt" = Sweet, salty and crunch.
It's also fun to watch you not being able to stop eating it, their commercial's slogan is "you'd be hard pressed to eat just one", which is a very accurate slogan.
Simen Kvamme A little late, but "sprøtt" has a double meaning: both "crunch"/"crispy" and "crazy"/"weird".
crunchy *
Every item is norwegian, so good work!
Takk! 😊
Kvikk lunsj (means quick lunch in english) and Kit Kat are basicly the same. But many candy testers I have seen prefer the norwegian version because of the the norwegian milk chocolate wich is said to be richer in taste, and not so sweet. It is the same chocolate which are in the big Freia chocolate bars, like the one you tested here. As you can see on the wrapping, it is a Kvikk Lunsj version as well, and contains bits of Kvikk Lunsj. There is a basic original version without anything added, but there is several other versions with bits of other types of chocolate from Freia, or with bits or caramelized almonds and a version with nuts and raisins. I personally prefer the one with bits of Daim.
Smash are actually corn cones, by many compared to Bugles corn cones. Those ofcourse are not dipped in chocolate.
Sprøtt means crunchy. :)
Solo is a norwegian drink, made in norway since 1934, but it is inspired by a spanish recipe.
Un4Given71 Thanks! That makes a lot of sense. I think there must be another soda brand called Solo out there because I’ve seen it outside Norway - But thank you so much for explaining about Quick Lunch. I’ll try to memorize Sprøtt, could be useful! I’m afraid we have never come across any Bugles - with the exception of the satirical podcast.
If you saw it a few years back, Solo actually tried to make an international breakthrough, but I don't think it lasted for that very long. But they did some heavy marketing in the US and some other countries for a while. Maybe some five years ago or so.
Try the Oskar Sylte BRUS drink and it is locally made here in Molde Norway where I live. 😊 It comes with different flavors as well.
@@Simplytravel19 Solo has been sold outside Norway.

It so good to try new things
TRANSLATIONS: "Potetskruer" means "screws of crisps(UK) or screws of chips(US)". "Maaruud" is the brand. "Søtt, salt, sprøtt" means "Sweet, salty and crunchy". "Uten palmeolje", you got it right, it means "without palm oil". "Solo" is an orange-flavored soda/soft-drink(US) orange fizzy drink/pop(UK?). It's a Norwegian brand and not very common elsewhere, if at all. "Melkesjokolade" means "chocolate (made) of milk". "Kvikklunsj" is both the name of the chocolate (one word), but can also be translated to "(a) quick lunch", hence two words on the front. "Nidar" is the name of the brand. "Salty Caramel" is of course English. A possible reason why it has an English name and description on it's wrapping is most likely to the fact that English is a widely spoken language in Norway, although it's not an official language.
