I think the biggest thing behind the reason of the price of tome is the bar of the build that can actually run the tomes. 1 tome without investment and strategy (as in relics) will rarely lead you to divine pay off, though sextant reward is absolutely one of the juiciest reward of them. That being said, as long as the archetype is fine, I think merchant strategy will help even the weakest build most of the time. If you just start sanctum, get as many merchant option as you can and just plug chest/monster double coin drop for the rest of the slot. The boons can make you stronger while making enemies weaker. This will tide you over the initial sanctum.

Funny is, my friend and I also did 175 searing/eater bosses today, and this char is so great for that as well. In sanctum, I still struggle a little on Lycia, I failed her like 3 times and killed her one. I am still getting used to the fight again, and I struggle a bit with some mechanics. I will get better soon, got lots of tomes to practice on.

I am consistantly getting to Final Form Lycia on this build like every run now but i have yet to kill her in 83's I skipped Sanctum league so this is all new to me I am enjoying the learning process I might just give up for now and watch a boss tutorial XD I wanted to d0 it blind, my build is prob less dmg so I cannot insta phase her but almost @@Travic_

So basically6 you want to build coins and upsides at the start, while avoiding downsides. Makes sense since the downsides stick until the end... I once took cutpurse (no coins gained) + room tax and it fked everything.
I wish i can build any class that can do this , been trying to get a RF jugg up and running and iets so so painfull , even following a guide is not helping 😢, hate it this awesome game is this fking hard
I tried running the first free sanctum and it made very little sense in terms of how the league mechanic works. After watching some videos like this I want to try again and see if I can get some of my first real currency this league.
@@Travic_ It definitely helped a lot to understand the basics. On my first "real" run I beat the final boss and got a divine and about 20 chaos. Great league mechanic and probably my favorite one now.
Ive been doing the basic essence mapping and blight maps farming, and regular mapping of course.. i can make about 1.5-2div an hr, im pretty casual 😂 but i think i need to learn some sanctum, missed that league
SANCTUM JUST PRINTS MONEY HOMIE! Also if you want to kick up your 1.5-2div an hour game cause you have less time, just gige blast maps in 10-20 seconds with a fast mapper. And by blast maps I mean open like tier 3 strand blitz the map, kill and loot the following "essences, Divine, Chaos, more strand maps" then go next. Its not the "most fun" but it will kick up your div/hour
i have been trying sanctum for a couple of days.. but it never clicks. I hope this video helps did drop a 14div relic soooo that paid off ig :) was gonna destroy it :)

A lot of runs have 0. Also they could be hidden behind the hand choice rooms ( the name eludes me). Divines in sanctum are sanctums per hour. So go fast
sanctum pisses me off so bad. the fact you know all the loot youre losing when you die makes it all that much worse. lost out on 9 div in 3 failed runs. die to lycia every time 😫

Ya she’s simple once you understand it, he’ll even if you make it to the lightning phase and see it once it’s pretty straight forward

Dissolution of flesh says damage reserves hp and when full I die, so I have my full hp bar

Yeah Sanctum is wild, once you learn the mob spawns and rooms its becomes a free money simulator
7 out of 9 of my all seeing eye runs had literally 0 divines on the map, meanwhile yours has like 8 on floor 4
