9:15 can anything be done about that shot of water that comes, I believe from condensation, before the frothed milk comes? I bought the Anima from you guys, and I thought I'd upgrade to the Magenta because of the water issue but it looks like it has the same issue. I don't want water, watering down my coffee or milk, you know.

I agree with the water "shot" issue. I always use a small measuring cup to catch the first second of the water.

I bought the Prestige specifically for the flat white, true double shot (2 x grind/extract) but why is the maximum milk volume on the flat white only 100mL while other milk drinks (eg cappuccino) can add up to 240mL of milk. Seems wrong that the true double shot drink has the lowest programable milk option

Because that is the definition of flat white, you put LESS milk in flat white that you do on cappuccino.
That's what you get in coffee bar, 60ml of espresso + 100ml of milk
cappuccino is essentially the same 30ml of espresso + 100ml of milk
If you are adding 240ml milk to double espresso you are making a latte.

Do you have to clean the tube that runs into the milk (as opposed to the automated process)? Is that a tube or a channel? How do you clean the milk container?

¿Is this machine basically an Anima Prestige with upgraded electronics ?

Has anyone had issues with the carafe sensor not working? I'm putting it back in exactly as shown up top and it's not pushing in far enough to trip the dual-pronged sensor inside the assembly. I return the first unit because of this, and after cleaning my new unit, the same thing is happening. I have no clue what I'm doing wrong and reached out to technical support today.

This may be a dumb point, may not be related, but I have to ask. I have the same unit and early on I was putting the clear milk plastic container together the wrong way half the time. Just make sure the bottom with the lip indent is facing forward. Also does the sensor not trip with the water nozzle put in as well?

    Can you use plant-based milk?
