Not disappointed at all, feel genuinely proud of you. Don't forget, win or lose every game you are gaining experience and improving, this 1900 version of you is better than a 1993 version because you've learnt more. Online rating is important but doesn't tell the full story. You will get 2000 soon, rooting for you!

That first loss is so relatable. 1 small oversite instantly rewards their annoying playstyle. It feels like you were completely cheated from a well deserved win. So much so that it occupies your mind during the next game, stealing your focus. A very human moment.

Win or lose, I like your playing style. You stop to calculate and that means you're thinking and learning every game. Like I've seen in players over 2000, if they can avoid blundering, they can usually punish the super quick opponents. I know you're gonna get there eventually, because you've put a lot of work into this.

its the nature of elo to spike and settle, a month ago you spiked into 1900 and settled back down to the mid 1800s, now you spike to 1990s but settle to 1900, that is growth, that is a raising of your floor, on your worst day this week you are as good as you were on a good day a month ago. One day soon you will hit 2000 and you will probably lose it shortly after, that's chess, a few weeks after that you will be 2000 forever more. (baring stopping playing, etc, etc)

I totally understand why you shouldn't play on tilt but I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing to play a lot of chess. It depends on how you feel and what your mindset is. The bottom line is you will never cross 2000 ELO if you don't play.
If you are actually burned out or playing on tilt, then I would say obviously stop doing that. But if you feel fine and you're still having fun Then play all you want. Just make sure you get the moment you cross 2000 on camera. Because we all know it's gonna happen. It's just a matter of time.

Apex if you want to reach 2000 you need to stop tilting. Take a break from chess and enjoy life. Playing too much chess will tire your brain and you will just tilt because you lost. If you did this you would not be 1900. I do this and I gained 235 elo in 90 days.

It goes both ways! You have won games you should have lost! What makes you think you are a better player? You lost! From July 31 to August 2 you played 120 some odd games! Do you think you can play your best chess after playing 20 or 30 games a day? Cmon, stop making excuses about tilting! You wore yourself out, bro. Are you recording when you play offline because I think the fans would want to see you cross 2000! I'm wondering if you record those games. That first guy has played over 11000 games. You moving quick is a result of all your blitz and bullet games. If you remember the advice I gave you a few days ago about focusing on the goal but you didn't listen. Such is life! It would be interesting to see how well you would do in chess 960. Maybe when you hit 2000 you can work on that and we'll see how good you really are!
