Today we finally enter the city of prifdinas! We have been working towards the elven city for a while, but I think we finally have enough chunks to unlock it. We are going to be locked to this city for a while and you will find out why.
There are still a number of hurdles we need to cross to be able to use the bow of faerdhinen. Today we are going to get started with those, but first we need to complete the song of the elves.

Rules:
-This is a main account that has access to the grand exchange.
-Money can be earned in any way, but no trading or transferring money over to Steve.
-Once a unique rare item from the list has been purchased a new adjacent chunk can be chosen. (I will allow an exceptions to use natural forms of transport such as ships, boats, canoes, minecarts etc
-To unlock new chunks each new item must be unique and not a repeat.

I been doing elvs afk every night before bed for years, at 72m exp lol, over 1.8b made.
If you didnt want to unlock whole priff and only a quarter, didnt you unintentionally just "lose" now?
If you look at 7:52 the western door is locked behind another chunk, then at 8:51 you finish the quest and get placed on that locked chunk. Again on 9:49 you confirm that u only have access to 1/4 of the instance.

OSRS really should add new islands similar to RS3's Ports mini game. That way they can add the sailing skill, sailing would be basically pointless if RS doesn't add more places you can go.

Okay I just want to say. Out of all the content all the videos people have put out about RuneScape from the 1hp accounts to killing scammers. This is the freshest and coolest concept for a new game mode. Only being able to unlock chunks with money and watching it go from gray to a lit up bubbling swamp like you unlocked it. Just gave me a feeling of nostalgia and happiness. This is a really cool mode u got here. Awesome content
Seems like it would be worth buying two extra chunks to unlock cg. It's an excellent money maker and gives the items you are looking for.

Mm yeah but if they aren't needed for quests then it doesn't further the ultimate goal - and later on each chunk will be worth hundreds of millions if not billions, so probably not worth it overall

There are so many new items you can add to the list now that Varlamore is out and so many new money makers! I hope you end up adding these items to the list.
I think you should put the Trader Steve: then episode name and number. Putting trader Steve at the end makes me miss the videos sometimes
i think you should have all of prif unlocked since its an instance. otherwise you have to unlock all chunks in instances ie fight caves, gauntlet ect
Grinded out elves when Toa came out, Bofa went over 200m & seeds were selling for over 4m. Was a pretty penny, Saw quite a few bots even back then though.

Given that the zulrah chunk was just south of a chunk u had, and that chunk only had 1 step, could you not have unlocked JUST that chunk, and used a Zulandra Teleport? I know you need access, but it is an adjacent chunk, so I think it couldve been allowed

I recently spent 30-some hours at elves myself at 99, and it was VERY profitable!
For the sake of completing the series you should be able to buy items such as the new perilous moons rewards as they are currently all over or around 1m. You could allow yourself to buy new content items over 1m to make up more chunks if you struggle

you just run around with prot melee on and grab them to the center between the bend and go get them when they respawn every so often, it is very nice :). 11 targets makes it a really quick spot instead of a decent one.
Sad that I had not found this series sooner, so addicted.
I would have thought you would have just bought the Zulrah chunk since you had an adjacent chunk to the north and just used a teleport to access the area but I guess you want it more linear
Surprised you didn't just bite the bullet and unlock the Gauntlet and grind it for BOFA + shards + money

re watched this series while grinding. i saw you kill a group of 4 skeleton monkeys, you know that you can gab both groups at the same time and kill them in between, the one you did on the bend and the one on the next bend for much faster and more economical xp, you can stack 11 there and even more on respawns. it is just much better for the wallet and in terms of time :D.

I vote to allow you an option to do like a "1 time pass" purchase to get thru chunks like the one in this video. Maybe like for 50m you can spend 30 seconds in that chunk but not lock away an item for it, you could even lock the 1 time passes behing skilling achievements or something so you aren't tempted to use them all the time in the end game
Only needed one if u used zulandra tellys.

Why not spend your time at corrupted gauntlet? Make a ton of money and might just get the enhanced weapon seed that’ll pay for bowfa itself
I did elves the second I got access to them all the way to 99. Made BANK, back when Bofa as more expensive I was able to buy it, fully charge it, and make more money off it all. Such good money.
I just 99'd thieving doing strictly all elves last week and made 75m+ and I got Rocky too... incredibly fun grind tbh.
I love Trader Steve and his quest for a quest cape. Ive been watching the series since the beginning and REALLY hope he succeeds! I do have one thing I want to express... I am very starved for content and want more episodes. I know that Trader Steve is capable, but his rate of 1 item to one chunk is overbearing. I would love it if each tier of item would still be a chore, but allow more chunks. The 1mil items are almost gone from his table, but Steve needs SO many more chunks [Specially with Valamore and newer content being released]. I hereby suggest the following table
1mil- 5 mil : 1:1 Item to chunk ratio
5.1Mil -10 mil 1:3 Item to chunk ratio
10.1-20 mil 1:5 item to chunk ratio
20.1-50 mil 1:10 item to chunk ratio
50.1-100 mil 1 :20 item to chunk ratio
100+ mil items 1:25 item to chunk ratio
This would still allow Steve to be able to grind out some wonderful items. I just don't want Trader Steve to become like By Release and only update 2-3 times per year.

It's unfortunate, but the chunk you unlocked at 2:00 could have been unlocked a few episodes ago when you were trying to get that tar thing for the other elf quest. You picked the one beside it because you thought it'd be nore useful. Tough break 😢

Plus, he'd get pretty decent loot from grinding out the gauntlet.
@@noowanna Problem is, there's a hard-cap on the number of chunks that can be unlocked. I have no idea how much leniency there is, but where possible he needs to save the GE items for quest locations.
At 8:50, it looks like your character is behind the Left door half, putting it in the south western chunk of Prif I would guess? (I assume this is where the quest spits you out?) Does this mean that chunk should also have been unlocked? Does this happen every time you enter Prif using the doors, or only post-quest?

He only allows walking + natural transport for chunk unlocking. He mentions it in the first episode.
would speed it up a bit if you also count skillcapes :) but maybe that feels to hacky to add at this point

Whats the pluggin to change your left click settings?
Menu entry swapper. If you hold shift and right click it should come up with options for you to change what the left click is.
Sote boss took me like 15 tries. I about quit same with the mm2 docks.

The yew trees in prif are alright for shards but id have went thieving cause its alot faster
I hope someone sees this but how are you bringing multiple dodgy necklaces with you? Whenever I bring more than 1 it takes charges from both of them am I glitching?
It's just a runelite display thing, it's not actually using charges on all dodgey necklaces at once.

You should just get full access to prif, I mean you're following your rules in every other case when there's subareas. Prif just isn't on the overworld.

I think it’s on by default, try shift+right click and it should bring up “swap left click” where you can change your default option to pickpocket

tonight i had random ppl donating to me all night for no reason, it was a milti person scam that led to me trading all my gp for plat tokens, being a noob and having so many genorus random donations there was a guy donating and everyone was saying omg ty for max stack ( i later realize it was the ppl that dono to me hours prior), i gave a random all my gp (70m, took me a year to make) for 2k plat tokens thinking it was max stack, because im a stupid noob,, this isnt a sympaty post, i dont want donations, laugh at my mistake, dont trade anyone.
