Hey buddy I did same cover but always I have hard time closing the tailgate. And it leaks bad. If you can show how you did the installation. OBS: The dealer did the installation on it.
I have this bed cover and it does not hold up to heat. I live in Las Vegas, the cover did not last 1 summer. This cover has way too many parts that are glued, and ALL OF THEM FAIL in the heat. First the 2 inner liners to avoid from burning hands when rolling open detached because its just glued, and that failed. Then the glue and rubber seal of the area closest to the rear window shrunk due to heat, and that ruined the entire vinyl, rubber seal and gasket. Also the entire top vinyl is glued to the actual aluminum tabs, so when the heats hits, it melts the glue causing the tabs to get misaligned and the tabs start pinching on top of each other and the cover does not close properly. And the worse is that water seals from each side is glued to the vinyl, so when the vinyl shrinks due to heat the rubber detached from the vinyl so now the whole thing is leaking and loose. Also all the video show people closing the cover with one hand, while this is possible after a few times doing that, the cover will start to create a dip in the middle from pressing down all the time, its just aluminum so it bends fairly easy. The product has potential to be great, but getting rid of all the vinyl is a must.
Man that's a bummer... I lived in CA for 8 years and I was amazed at how bad the sun beats cars up... don't have that issue here in the midwest! Paint stays nice on cars out here for years and years! Out in CA it seemed like cars would start to have faded paint after 20 years or so.
We had one of these on our 2022 Silverado 3500HD and the driver’s side edges came apart after a year and a half. We didn’t roll it up often so there should be no reason for this failure. It also gets super hot during the summer months and you can easily burn your hands if you’re not wearing gloves. Definitely won’t be buying this particular tonneau cover next time.
Did it hold up? Apparently the two black bands one on each side tend to fall because the glue don't hold them in place.. is this the same as the one made by Bak?
I have this same tonneau cover and the black felt bands don’t stick anymore. The tacky glue won’t hold. Anyone else have this problem and a possible solution? Thank you!

Can you lock it up securely?
How’d you get it to close so easy? Mine was dealer installed and taken back once and it still is hard to close. It goes back again this week.
Are you still pleased with this cover and any issues with water getting in? I’m contemplating getting it through GM accessories. Thanks
My uncle had one of these for like 3 years and never had a drop of water the whole time

That cover looks good, but it sucks.
