New deputy police chief pledges to secure the people

Newly appointed Deputy Inspector General of Police Major General Paul Lokech has said his immediate task is ensure security during and after the general election as well as creating harmony between police and the general population that seems to be on the wane. Lokech was speaking during his first media engagement two days after taking office.
