I have been in The Athletic's and Twitter's comments arguing - to my mental health's detriment - with Bears, Lions and other fans about this man: Jalen Carter. I'm sure I've written some form of this on BTB's channel before, but we really mustn't EVER forget how special it is to have a talent like Carter's. He's a "generational," "elite," etc. interior disruptor. He gets after the pass better than Fletch did in his early years, and it's obviously only been 8-9 weeks for Jalen. He's stout enough in the run game. Has the most brute power I've EVER seen. At least, re: players who can explode with power IMMEDIATELY after the ball is snapped. He is amazing. We're very lucky to have Suh 2.0. Thanks Howie!

Not the point of the video, but the number of times prescott was able to get the ball out in under 2 seconds is terrible. Gotta make the qb hold it for the dline to eat
Remember, Jalen is likely "out of shape." Compared to you or me, he's in elite football shape. But lest us forget he was 10 pounds heavier at the infamous, and wildly overblown, pro day. Maybe that kind of fat is shed in the first few weeks of mini camp, but I'm not so sure. Neither am I that he's transferred that extra padding into muscle. This kid is a ROOKIE! He's one of, if not THE, best iDL/DT in the NFL. Now that he had a week to rest up, watch out opposing OL. Especially if Jalen feels he has s chip on his shoulder due to folks genuinely thinking he was "owned" by the Cowboys OL. I don't get why he's so hated outside Philly. Yes, the car incident. *Racism too.*

I wish they’d play Davis more. I know they use him for run downs but he gets a good push and can help Carter with pass rush. Fletch is older and he plays the most snaps. Doesn’t make sense. Keep everyone fresh. Cox playing double the snaps plus some needs to stop. Carter is doubled and Cox can’t win his one on one. Maybe Cox could with fresher legs

If he doesn't win DROY I don't know who wins. He is commanding double teams and chip blocks in the interior completely collapses the pocket. I know DL isn't a great position to watch like CB or Safety but they literally gamplanning him. That is ridiculous

We should build our coverage schemes around Carter’s ability to get pressure. More man press or lesser cushions in zone WRs getting free releases is too easy and then DBs can’t touch them at all after 5 yards.

Mazi Smith for us is NOT Jalen Carter but when he's in the A Gap a double is coming that is always gonna be the reaction all things being equal and no LB are mugging the A gap. So if Mazi who is decent can draw a double SURELY so will Jalen. What's impressive is his power and get off. So yes he's gonna win some reps... Did that game feel like a win to eagles fans? I’m a cowboys fan and typically if we lose I just chalk it up as a loss, but I honestly felt like we won in all 3 phases of the game. It doesn’t really matter, we still lost, but I do think there’s something to be said about each teams play, it’s possible the better team didn’t win. If I were that eagles team after that game I would not feel confident seeing the cowboys again. Maybe I’m biased, I’m curious what you thought? Did you think the eagles outplayed the cowboys and if so where at specifically?
yeah as an eagles fan it felt like a win because the eagles outscored the cowboys and we moved ahead in the standings. cowboys played good, the eagles have been finding ways to win this season. dak always seems to find a way to come up short

Carter won some battles but dallas did containe him a fair ammount. They just used a lot of capital to do so which made it way easier for the D line. That goes in hand with a blitz play having a higher success rate then normal.

Davis went out in the first quarter with the hamstring. He came back later in the game, but not for many plays
