It took me 2 hours to build not including the time to gather the resources, it was fun building but also frustrating when some of the building ingredient were wrong, not mad because you probably spend alot of time making that list :'). I've always wanted to build a nice base but I lacked the skill and creativity to do so, Thank you very much for this simple, useful and detailed video! I'm very grateful for the Ingredients building list!
Now I need to bring my tamed dinasour with raft into their new beautiful bases!!

Thank you! I do my best to get the materials correct, but sometimes after building these 3-4 times I end up placing something differently for the video than I did when I counted the structures.

I love the design of your build its really nice but I do have one question is it strong cuz I'm trying to find a base thats hard to raid and has alot of room
Unfortunately, this will not be a hard to raid base. This is more for PvE style play.

Can I ask why you build it with the outside of the wood wall in? I noticed a lot of different builds by different people do this.
This is usually an aesthetic thing. It can completely change the look of a build to flip the walls or not.
i would recommend using stone for ur house and pen incase a spino,rex or carno comes and tries destroying ur build
That is absolutely a good tip! The only reason I made this from wood is to be a bit more beginner/resource friendly. :)

What are your controls? I need to know because mine are bad for mobile
I just use the basic swipe and tap controls. I keep and on-screen jump button but that's all. Occasionally I use an Xbox control to lines up benches or things when building.

There is a spino spawn point nearby, but other than that it's not too bad of a spot.

that is amazing but how you colour the base ?
I prefer using the spray gun for it, but the paint brush works just as well. I used mostly White and Mud color dyes.
Any ideas on how to fix the pillar issue? Only 1 of the for corner pillars don’t disappear xD
I'm honestly not sure why it picks and chooses when to leave the pillars and when to break them. It's a funky thing with the fence foundations causing it. The easiest solution, which is still not perfect, is to get gates up, and the walls all the way around except the corners, then place pillars and the corner walls last.

Are there any possible alternatives to the stone railings?
You could definitely replace them with wooden ones. You could do metal too, but that's quite a bit more expensive.

Can I have a request? I've been playing ark mobile for 2 weeks now. And I heard you can build a tree house, can you build a tree house? I don't know the trick in building houses in ark so I need some help
I need some help, I tried build up, and I ended up only with 2 floor, at the 3rd floor said that the foundation reached its limit. How can I build up more?? I just needed one more floor for the generator and other stuff

If you need to build higher, you need to use higher level foundations. ie. Upgrade wood foundations to stone, or stone up to metal. this will give you more structure and you can build higher.

They are unfortunately an amber purchase item. But you can use wooden or stone ramps instead and it's still perfectly fine.

Unfortunately you have to buy them with Amber. But chase down some drops or mine metal rocks on the volcano with a pick, you can quickly have enough Amber to buy them.

Yeah, it's a lot of mats, but it doesn't use many hard to get resources to keep it possible for beginners to gather.

Yeah it’s fairly safe. You get an occasional spino spawn down the water a bit, but mostly just raptors and such. Nothing too threatening.

I have seen spinos around here and there, but not too often. This could be build pretty much anywhere that's semi-flat though.

What’s a hatch
The hatchframe is a ceiling piece with a square cut out in the middle so you can get in and out with a ladder.

Make a PvP base
I do have a couple PvP base designs in mind, but they're a work in progress. I'm a PvE guy so getting some feedback on a few designs to make sure they actually work.
Nice base, dont get me wrong BUT this ISNT a beginner base... you didnt say u had to be over lvl 20 to do this. An those materials you best have a big chest or several little ones to keep everything in. This requires you to be 20-30 in lvl an DAYS of collecting everything. Definitely not a beginner base. Sorry. It's cool tho. Gave u a like.
I meant this more as a "beginner" base for someone looking to move into nicer builds than basic thatch huts. BUT, I do get what you're saying and can respect that opinion. It's 100% not a base most people could build day one on a server or single player game.
In future videos I will (attempt) to include material counts in addition to structure counts. Give people a chance to see the grind involved to prep for the build. Thanks for the feedback!!

If you have that many dinos, or have gigas at all, you're not beginner level, so why would you? lol

I got problem with the pillar, it’s always disappear when I got home or place another pillar
I was running into that problem too. I just had to keep placing them in a different order until I found the right way. Just a little trip and error. But they aren't required so you could skip them too if needed.
