    Being a north indian, I agree that we should not cut the last syllable of all the traditional words. We must go back to our roots and get rid of all the distortions of words and traditions.

    • @ahambrahmasmi2477
      @ahambrahmasmi2477 2 ปีที่แล้ว +15

      The reason for the change of pronunciation in Hindi is the rule of the Muslims in north India! It is called Deepawali in Sanskrit & South Indian languages
      Incorrect pronunciation of Sanskrit words by Hindi speakers
      राम (Raama) राम् (Raam)
      भारत (Bhaarata) भारत् (bhaarat)
      राजस्थान (Rajasthana) राजस्थान् (Rajasthan)
      शिव (Shiva) शिव् (Shiv)
      दीपावळी (Deepawali) दिवाली (dewali)

    • @annantporwal4970
      @annantporwal4970 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      I believe in all our scriptures it’s written Ram and not Rama. Both are right.

    • @hiteshgujarathi4636

      @@annantporwal4970 it was ram after all. It's only South indian out extra A at the end of almost every name or word. Even many sanskrit word don't use that aaa like south indian languages does.

    •  2 ปีที่แล้ว +20

      @@hiteshgujarathi4636 Please learn at least basic sanskrit before you speculate more. राम (Raama) is the sanskrit word. राम् (Raam) is the hindi word. Similarly, Deepavali is sanskrit, diwali is hindi. Deepam + Aavali = Deepavali, meaning array of lights. The purity of sanskrit is unfortunately maintained only in North Karnataka and South Maharastra anymore, also in parts of Andhra and Kerala. Hindi, which is a combination of prakrit and urdu cuts off the 'a' inflection of sanskrit which occurs at the end of most sanskrit words. In Tamilnadu and Kerala, Raama is called Raaman. In reality, the bottom two states add 'n' inflection and the north cuts off 'a' inflection. In sanskrit classes, I have often found that the people who struggle the most to pronounce sanskrit correctly are the hindi speaking and the tamil speaking population.

    In Jainism too it's about awakening our inner self to reduce karmic accumulation. Karma and karmic memory is very crucial and shredding it to our path to moksha is very important.

    Pls do not take a wrong take from this video about bursting crackers. It's not encouraged to burst crackers, they harm animals and environment as a whole. Lighting lights for brightness and warmth is the only takeaway in the video 😌

      @UCfHNzDJUY3TWcss7Riwc3Ow The reason for the change of pronunciation in Hindi is the rule of the Muslims in north India! It is called Deepawali in Sanskrit & South Indian languages
      Incorrect pronunciation of Sanskrit words by Hindi speakers
      राम (Raama) राम् (Raam)
      भारत (Bhaarata) भारत् (bhaarat)
      राजस्थान (Rajasthana) राजस्थान् (Rajasthan)
      शिव (Shiva) शिव् (Shiv)

    South India and North India are like different rooms in one big household. Would one discriminate between his/her own home's different rooms....... Absolutely not. All the different parts of our glorious nation are complementary to each other. I don't thing Sri Ram or Sri Rama would love less any of His devotee because of his/her pronunciation of His name, afterall He is the father and mother of all of us.
