Anyone noticed that Boecklin uses a twin pedal and had two bass drums? seems a bit pointless....

Sometimes drummers are asked to use only one bassdrum due to time restrictions for soundchecks. Also, there are sound engineers who prefer to do it the easiest way. Or maybe the backline is shared with a band who uses both bassdrums.
