Listening to the reaction and album again, I think T4ke is a close second for me, its between that and Autopilot, but I really liked T4ke a lot listening to it again on this reaction.
Mamamoo brought me into K-pop and RBW, so I have been following PK since pre-debut. I can't tell you how much I love all of the women from both groups. I do strongly suggest you check out the brother groups, Oneus and Onewe. There is another group, no longer active, that was patterned after MMM that unfortunately didn't catch on called Vromance. They also did some really good music.
Although I enjoy Quirki Purki I appreciate that they went back to the more mature sound of Ponzona for this comeback at least. I will forever associate SuMMer RaiN will Ji Eun, her singing those words have always given me chills. As expected though, another no skip EP from the girls.
Yuki is at the top as the 4th gen rappers because of this, her raps always fits, none of them are over the top and out of place in their songs and she writes all of them which is more impressive.
I think since Soyeon is a main writer for her group and her solo stuff along with the work she has done with other groups and shows. She is kinda considered to be a producer and writer more than she is considered the rapper of gidle
I was really hoping you guys would do a full album, even though you guys haven't really done any album reactions recently. The album is absolutely amazing as is always the case with Purple Kiss. In guess you were wondering about rilas, it is silar backwards, which is Spanish for "To Leave". Of course, the MV is filled with Shining references. And of course, the room that gets featured is Room 315, to go along with their debut date of March 15th. I think Sweet Juice is my favorite PK title track. T4KE is Chaein's song for this album (as she works on one of the tracks for pretty much their albums). She worked on composing it and wrote the lyrics (along with Yuki, who would have done her rap for it). Autopilot is an absolute killer track. Dosie, Goeun, and Yuki (of course Yuki has writing credits on all tracks except for the intro) did the lyrics for Agit. Just because all of the other songs were so good, this is probably my least favorite here. Still a great song. Yeah, So Far So Good is probably my favorite for me. Seems we are pretty much in agreement this album. Since I know you don't do too much with teasers, I'm curious if you guys have checked out the highlight medleys that Purple Kiss puts out. They have a unique way of doing them by showing them acapella teasers before showing a bit of the actual track. It is great for showing the interplay of the members during a song.
the way i think of album reactions are a lil weird but logical i think lol.. i like listening to older albums when i find an artist i like on my own time when the mood hits. We also have limited time usually when we get a chance to hang out so we try to make album reactions for artists we are both excited to check out i still think its awesome to throw in lil things like that, im just horrible about picking up on them lol. I think my favorite title track ever is Ponzona. I appreciate when members have an active part behind the scenes, i think its just adds a lil layer to things. so far with every PK album my favorite at first always changed to the chill song over time. Joah (my favorate pk song) Summer Rain, and now prolly So Far So Good. I havent checked them out, you are right i kinda just got in the habit of avoiding them to not spoil anything. But i will check out theirs

Something that may interest you is the RBW 'way', bear in mind that this is information that was gleaned from the web so while I am pretty sure it is accurate it is not gospel. My understanding that in Korea, studios have contractural obligatios with their performers. The performers must follow a very rigid, restrictive training period where the studio has more-or-less complete control of the performers. During that time and even after debut the studios incur great cost in 'creating' and promoting their charges. Here's a amazing thing to me. I will admit that I am ignorant on this but I don't thinkg that Western Companies impose this but in Korea the performers are required to pay back all of that investment through merch sales, performances, live-presentations, etc.As I understand things the group, depending on the studio, has to work like dawgs to repay the investment. It is very hard work and often very unrewarding in the early stages. I think that this is why some performers transition to JAV because the pressure is too rigorous. Anyway back to RBW. Again this is only what I have been able to glean. I have often criticized RBW for lackadaisicle promotion, poor promotion of events and they seem to dump that obligation on the girls themselves. For example the last Two Can-AM tours were only broadcast a few Weeks before the event. That , to me, is terrible and a disservice to the girls because most people that may want to go but are in other cities or have a variety of obligations will not attend although I think a earlier notification would yield much greater results. Booking them into very depressingly small venues also cheapens their image. Now, on that score I understand that there are many variables involved with booking a better venue and many costs associated with that so that one is a tricky issue. RBW is not overflowing with investment capital. So, considering all of this I did a little research and discovered that per the financial servitude of almost all K-Pop studios , some of which is pretty shocking, even for top-tier K-Pop groups. Some studios keep as much as 90% of all profits and have extremely regorous and restrictive guidelines. RBW by comparison is reasonably fair and my understanding is that the performers under RBW get about 50%. There are other studios that are even better but RBW is very respectable on this issue. In addition They give their performers a lot of latitude with their style, look, lifestyle and musical direction, they try to provide them with tools to help them with some of the difficult aspects of their careers. So, all-in-all I think that PK is in a good place. They need more exposure and I do my little part by liking/sharing/commenting, and watching everything they post, new and old, and comment on each video. I try to encourage other Plory, especially those complaining tha PK is underrated, to do the same to try to give their metrics a bump so TH-cam will recommend them more often. In any case since you mentioned RBW I though that some of that info may be of interest to you. Thanks, as always for providing this vid and thanks for promoting PK. Cheers.
