I LOVE this show so much. There will always be a spot in my heart for the Cartwrights and the Ponderosa. They are truly missed by their families, friends, and fans. Great job on the video the music goes perfect with the video. I use to hate this show. I started to watch Little House on the prairie with my mom and dad and I really like it, then I remember that Michael Landon played in Bonanza so I decided to watch the first episode I turned it off like two or five minutes in. A week later I decided to just watch the whole episode. After that I couldn't stop thinking of Bonanza and I started to watch it every day.
Thanks for taking me Back to the 1960's . Did visit the replica of the Ponderosa in 1996....was a Good Time. This Was the ABOSOLUTE BEST SHOW EVER....it was the Greatest!!! Thank you Ben/Lorne, Adam/Pernell, Hoss/Dan,Joe/Michael.....RIP Fellows... you Guys Were My "HERO's" in Life. ( still have my "Bonanza-Lunchbox" from the First grade/ 56years ago).
If I had to pick only one show in my life that means the most it’s Bonanza! Like many of you I watched in the 1970’s when it went in syndication. My grandpa and I would watch it together. Bonanza had everything humor as well as serious topics. The cast was perfect together. The close bond between Lorne and Michael was evident. Lorne in real life was a father figure Michael never had. Everyone loved Dan Blocker. My fav on the show. They could never re create Bonanza. The original stands alone!
Bonanza has been my all time favourite show ever since I first watched it as a 6 year old child, 64 years ago The family values and the love that Ben had for his sons continues to resonate with me and in later years I have had an added bonus of travelling abroad and making friends with so many like minded people.
If your ever reeling from the insanity of this present world we live in, then watch a few episodes of Bonanza. Morality on horse back, good for your mental well being imo.
Is it me or does it look like Pernell was on the set of the later episodes even though he wasn't in them? In all of the Bonanza episodes, he didn't have receding hair, but in a few of those behind the scenes pictures at the end of this video, his hair had receded a lot. I guess he stuck around even though he wasn't in the episodes?🤔

👏👏👏 LEGAL 👏👏👏.
Yes, they all smoked. Have seen pictures of each of them with a cigarette.
Did all of them smoke?
At least they didn't frequently smoke on camera as some of the westerns did
😢😢❤❤❤❤❤❤
