I like the simple brass bushings instead of the skate bearings, did you buy this jig (where from?) or make it?

Stewart Mcdonald. The new version uses roller bearings and cost some $!!

If you slot a flat fingerboard with the miter box then radius it. Does it not matter that the depth of the slots change?

It does matter. I make sure the slots are deep enough before I radius it.
