The pen is on my S22 Ultra and can pretty much control my phone it's great for videos the primer system works quite well wish the primer slider would have been metal or some type of alloy but it's plastic and in time will wear thanks for watching!
I just got my 6000 the other day. Got it mounted but haven't used it yet. I mostly use mixed brass so I find it easier to resize, swage, and prime on the APP and ACP. I will make a batch using 6000 primer system just to check it out. I still need to get the mini Mr. Bullet Feeder kits in 9mm, 223, and 308 (for 300 BLK and 300 HAM'R). I see the primer tray pushes the bullet feeder. I hope that isn't a future problem. I think the 6000 is the Lee press to rule them all.
@The10thManRules I put a Lee sizer/decapper die between the powder drop and bullet feeder ..it acts as a powder cop when you loosen the decapping pin..now the primer tray doesn't interfere with bullet drop.
Thanks reloader523!!! 😀 Great new video showing us the primer work with and without a cartridge!!! I notice that the "Slider hold down" is not fully depressed on the ramp ... is this a choice or preference on your part or does this upgrade not allow you to go further??? Thanks a lot Cordialement f.g
@@reloader523 Ok !!! thanks for the answer :-) Once again, congratulations for your video and I wish you a lot of fun and good moments with this pretty press :-) Sincerely Alias.G
Honestly I think Lee has knocked it out with this press 6 stations and a primer feed that works flawlessly easy to change caliber plates I will be making this press my go to press for sure
Yes..you will see a small pin on primer trough move up and down with the pull of the handle there is a indentation on press rod that shakes the primer tray to insure flow of primers don't let your primers go below 3 primers in trough you may have to shake tray by hand this system was not one of Lee's better ideas
Yes it's hitting the bottom of bullet feeder which turns freely just a tap and it will rotate wherever you want it doesn't interfere with press process thanks for watching
Its such a pretty press, Lee did a nice job. Lee sent me the carrier parts including the indexing clutch. If you notice spilt primer stop. Once Lee fixes the priming pin he it'll be bullet proof. Mine rocks. 1. Resize 2. Powder 3. Powder checker 4. Mini Mr.BulletFeeder 5. Bullet Seat 6. Factory Crimp
I'm sending you a new bottom cover, primer pin and spring. We recently discovered on the initial batch of presses sent out with the cosmetically imperfect bases that if any gunpowder or foreign debris is spilled inside of the carrier, it can cause the primer pin to stick. We added some relief holes on the cover around the primer pin that protrudes from bottom cover to allow any foreign debris to escape. Here is a video link for doing the new cover installation: vimeo.com/756933295/88d1532b77 If you don't feel comfortable doing this installation, we can perform this installation here at the factory if you send the press in. It appears that there is a good bit of flex in the shellplate when priming the case. Is this due to it not being tightened down enough, or is it just inherent in the function of the press? Do you get consistent AOLs despite this?
At the time of the video I hadn't received my inline fabrication quick plate the one they sent was drilled wrong so I had to improvise only two bolts were holding the press on the base it didn't effect my AOL thanks for watching!
@@reloader523 I use the same. One thing I noticed, set the bullet feeder for a case @ max length for .223. I think its 1.750". Shorter cases due to over-trimming won't trigger the drop. Its not the bullet feeder. If that happens give the bullet feeder a little lift. I don't know how my Lee trimmer over trimmed, I'm pretty careful, some were as short as 1.735.
Good use of the Galaxy Note stylus remote.
That primer feed system looks interesting.

That's as far as she goes just needs to keep the back end of primer arm from lifting up

Thanks for the videos. So what's the overall verdict on the press?
Honestly I think Lee has knocked it out with this press 6 stations and a primer feed that works flawlessly easy to change caliber plates I will be making this press my go to press for sure
Is the primer tray supposed to collide with the press? To ensure feeding of primers?
Yes..you will see a small pin on primer trough move up and down with the pull of the handle there is a indentation on press rod that shakes the primer tray to insure flow of primers don't let your primers go below 3 primers in trough you may have to shake tray by hand this system was not one of Lee's better ideas
Looks like the tray is hitting the side of the press or the bottom of that black thing

Does it come with ball handle or roller?
Is it compatible with roller handle from older models (ABL/4000)?
Comes with a ball handle not sure if it's compatible with other models thanks for watching!
I have a classic 4 turret press with an Inline fab roller handle. Form, fit, funtion is exactly the same. I now need another one for my turret.
This is a longshot, but is there a way to get a primer pocket swage for crimped pockets for 556 and such?
As far as I know not for progressive presses RCBS makes one for turret and single stage thanks for watching
I use my Lee universal sweger tool in my single stage. Ill be buying the one for the Lee APP which would save a lot of time.
Perfect video thank you!
What case feed system are u using
Lee Precision Universal Case Feed System part# 90242
where did you get the red guide support on priming slide
It came with the press they might be black now Lee has changed colors on a few of their parts
thanks @@reloader523
What bullet feeder are you running?
It's the Mini Mr. Bullet Feeder made by Double Alpha thanks for watching!

How come your lee 6000 spin clockwise. Mine spin counter clock wise
