We have the same vtech baby monitor and my husband really likes being able to just open the app on his phone. The video quality on the app is just as good as the monitor itself. I find it really great to have both options of either using your phone or the monitor it comes with, especially when the monitor battery is dead and needs charged, you can just pull it up on your phone.
