As someone who is terrible at trivia, I don't feel like these questions were much harder than older ones. They were stranger/more specific, but I think I would have struggled with the older questions just as much. The not applying points based on how much time remains kinda bothers me though. It feels like it takes away too many points during the second round. I liked how you could not answer questions in previous versions to not risk your points.
It DOES have a few time-based challenges though. That helps.

Fun fact, YDKJ WAS in JPP 1, with lesser quality and only 4 players, and 100 sets of 10 questions.
Actually, it was only 50. A lot shorter than YDKJ 2011, and a lot lower quality too.
I didn't know 2015 only had 50 episodes, that is a content downgrade since 2011 had 73

The timer didnt stop when all 8 players answered because they are waiting for audience answers. More wrong audience answers means more bonus for answering right. 38% audience correct gives $620 bonus.

as someone that played both YDJs in JPP games, JPP5 is better in 3 ways, 1st Dis or Dat, everyone can play and it isnt possible to game the system (in JPP1 you just pick one of the 2, and hit that for all 7 as fast as possible, you usually get + or - 300, and then a couple grand for going fast) and the Jack attack is better, in the OG it was one answer to each clue, and first to hit it got it, and 3 this has 8 players vs 4. JPP 1 has 2 things i liked better, 1 not big on binjpipe, liked the episode format, 2 and this is a big one, I fucking loved wrong answer of the game, for those that dont know, each episode in JPP 1 had a sponsor, and one of the 9 questions (q3 is dis or dat, doesnt count) would have an answer that was incorrect, but was related to the sponsor, pick that for bonus money, and a prize. Oh one more possible thing better about JPP 5, less shitty gimmicks, i.e. no whos the dummy questions, hated those. One last note, the 4 is a 4 jr. because in one of the episodes in JPP 1 the four died, and for every episode after, iirc, it was an f instead of a 4 and it was awesome

It just moves so quickly and I take a long time to process so most of the questions would have just flown over my head!
They explain the answers though, every time once all the jokes have been said cookie always explains the answer. That's how it's in every version of ydkj since 1995
They also purposefully made this version of the game’s overall pace much faster than other versions to appeal to live streamers

I'd say the one thing that this game needed most was a make your own questions mode like Quiplash 2 and 3. Then you could make questions that your friends or family would understand, or make it about a particular topic. They could also do what they did with Quiplash and have Jackbox made themed games, like a game on 90s pop culture. Having stuff like that would make this version so much better, but as it stands it's still pretty fun to watch.
Especially since there were past games in the YDKJ series that would either have entire games that follow a specific themes (like an entire game with questions related to alcohol/drinking), or had pre-made episodes that followed a loose narrative thread. (The latter IS in Full Stream a bit, but you can’t directly choose it to show up, it’s a bit random)

The 2015 version of the game was at least. It’s a sequel to the rebooted YDKJ in 2011, and the original series has been a PC staple since the mid-late 90’s!

He is Mayor Rachel or something similar in almost all of the Jack Box party games. I never knew the origin but I remember Jack Box party games where there was "Rachel", "The Real Rachel", and/or "I am Rachel".
