I used to fish Apopka back in the 90's. It was so muddy. U could be cruising across the middle in 15 ft water and see a mud trail behind u. But I always caught fish tho. Never seen a lake that had that many gators either big ones all 10 ft plus

It doesn’t add or subtract points. Just shows you the consensus picks and heavily weighted anglers. If you’re trying to make up points in the standings, picking lower % people can help you get ahead if the majority % pick in the bucket struggles. The risk is if your low % pick does worse than the highest picked guy, you lose points to the majority of players.
