    Hello my dear friends! Hope you have a wonderful weekend. Thank you so much for always supporting me💕🥹. You didn’t know how much it really means to me. I’m trying to feel better and fighting my stress and anxiety. I made a video because making video is my commitment to all of you my dears. Though sometimes, I can’t able to make it because I also need to take care of my well being. Hope you enjoy this video as I put so much love into it 💜. Happy weekend and love you all my dears🤗

    I live alone in a village near Barcelona, and the problem with groceries is that the quantity of all of them is enormous, the least big is 500 or 600 grs of tomatoes, carrots, etc. For potatoes, 2 kgs. or 3 kgs. and so on. I am observing that in Japan the quantities are for people that live alone, well done!

    • @scook5599
      @scook5599 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      I do think that being able to get small quantities of food etc like in Japan is wonderful for a single person or small family. Here in the U.S. many items both food and non-food items come in large to very large sizes. I have a small space and it is hard to store large quantities of anything.

    Lou, I have recently found your videos, and I LOVE them❣️ I am a 71 year old woman living in the USA. Watching your videos is very soothing to me. I love your shopping trips and food prepping/cooking. Negative comments from some people who criticize your cooking, eating, buying plastic wrapped items, etc, totally miss the point of your videos. You graciously show me what your daily life is like in a limited fashion, and by so doing, you educate me towards your culture. I appreciate that, and I hope you disregard those who try to belittle you. I also suffer from high anxiety and take Gabapentin for it. I hope you find something to help you, as no one needs to suffer with that. Thank you for your lovely videos!

      I'm currently in Vietnam, and the groceries she is putting in her basket are cheaper than groceries here in the supermarket. I really don't know how the Vietnamese are getting by (at drastically lower wages). Yes - Japan, unfortunately, has had a tough time economically and isn't really a largely rich population anymore the way it used to be. It's reflected in supermarket prices (and the low Yen) in many ways.

    Thank you Lou for another great video. I live in the Northwest U.S. near Canada. The small cultiral differences are the most interesting to me. Here, eggs are often kept in cold storage warehouses for some time before they are sold in stores. And always refrigerated. And fruits and veg are usually not packaged in plastic. Six day work weeks are a thing of the past. But company culture is not the same, andmost workers are considered expendable.
    I'm old now, but suffered a lot of anxiety and even panic attacks when I was younger. With age, this has faded away mostly. I hope it does the same for you!💖

    You are so wonderful and so selfless. Thinking of others, even while you, yourself aren't feeling so well. I am so thankful to you for sharing a bit of your world. Your patience and loveliness radiates through the screen. I am so impressed by all the neat things Japan has, to help almost everything. Like for instance, I've never seen those masks that help prevent throat dryness while sleeping. Those would be great here. Also, the drink for helping with anxiety and to help sleep, that's very interesting. I struggle with anxiety and sleep, so I usually take Tylenol PM's or allergy pills, to make me fall asleep. Please never forget we are all grateful for whatever you wish to share with us but always think of yourself first. If you are feeling to overwhelmed and overextended, please take a break for as long as you, want and need. Never compromise your health just to keep us or anyone else entertained. 💓🙏😊

But I found if I keep the balance between being phisically and mentally active and I follow a strick rule of going to bed and getting up at the same time every day plus leave early morning coffee, then I am fine. If You can only manage to go to bed and getting up at the same time every day that should help.

    Hey Lou, I haven't really watched all of your videos and so don't know your actual work background. But all I can say is that you're an incredibly skilled videographer and editor, and also art director - I hope you know that you are. I'm an art director myself and would hire you on the spot if I had clients like Muji or similar lifestyle brands whose aesthetics matches yours 1:1. I also know you're from SE Asia but not Japan, but I guess you know how perfectly spot-on you got the Japanese aesthetics and mindset in your videos, which is remarkable.
    I'm sure you're already getting brand contracts, and if you don't, then they will literally be around the corner, because your editing, your many angles, your intelligent and always pleasing repositioning and reframing, and the excellent (calm) pacing of your videos are immaculate; as immaculate as your choice of props and even the colour grading. It's so pro that I'm sure you're an actual pro, and I congratulate you there. Those are such lovely videos, and I think you should have absolutely no reasons to be anxious or worried about anything. Ganbatte!, and success and much happiness are already on the way to you! All the best

    I personally really love watching your videos to destress before bed. You remind me there is beauty in the mundane parts of life.
    When I'm very anxious the best tool I use is circular breathing followed by holding my breath and feeling my heart beat throughout my limbs. I'll repeat the cycle a few times and I'm reminded that breathing is incredibly powerful and we take it for granted. that all the stress is equal to the size of a breath and breath is equal to the size of stress in importance.

It may cost more initially but it definitely save time. We also have room to store the larger quantities. We do enjoy seeing your healthy meals!
