@darkfire170 it's more like a remaster running on carbon engine. They might keep the old quips, replace them, or add a feature to toggle between old and new.
I used to enjoy staring at the cool background (or skybox) for this level. You don't actually see it until later in the level when you get outside the interior of the ship.

Man, I love that game as it was part of my childhood, though I'm 27 now, in my country we were a bit behind from the west when it comes to video games at that time. In any case, I don't know when your birthday is, but I'm gonna comment here wishing you all the best each year from now on.

Old games were created with so much love. So much detail. Even with the little they used to have to create a game. Today it's just profit. So sad... D;
Unfortunately my friend this game was also made quickly for profit. Having played the beta version, there was so much work done quick to hit the release date.

More levels, enemies, items to collect, etc. A lot of things were in the prototypes on 30th December 1998 and 8th February 1999 and were not in the final version. I wish the Gex Trilogy would have all the cut content added back into the game and I mean all three Gex games. I don't really believe it will be there, it's supposed to be a remaster, but I'll be surprised, what will be there, it is all, have a nice day.

As a kid, I legit thought these levels were actually themed to Pirates of The Caribbean at Disneyland. Loved the heck out of that level…

This level used to scare the shit out of me. Especially when I was walking around on top of the ships mast xD I was so afraid of the height.

this level is difficult due to pain in the ass skeleton pirate and the wall of death.
tip the skeletons can't block long jumps so do that to kill them but yeah the most annoying thing in this level is the damn Wall of death
i hated the wall of death. it's the one thing that made me dread that level so much.
