That is in really nice shape & accurate. Did well with all but it's hard to beat a nice wadcutter. Hope that weather doesn't get too bad for you. Rainy here & earlier wind gusts off the NC/TN Mtn. up to 77 to 90mph. 👍🙏
Thanks! S&W revolvers in 32 are a blast from the past but they had there place in the model lineup and served to guard many a homeowner or businessman in their day 😀
Seems your range is much more lax than ours. We can't do anything without a range officer or at the very least cameras rolling. That's a sweet shooter Nibs! 😎
Just inherited a 31-1 “2 in mint condition with like 99% blueing it’s an absolute beauty, lock up is like a vault should be a good shooter! 1955 production date.
Nice Nib's!, I shoot .32S&WL as well and also handload my rounds. I have a couple of Colt's, a 1922 Police Positive and a 1939 Officers Model Heavy Barrel. I like shooting wadcutters which was a Bullseye staple in the 60's-70's-mid 80's as you probably already know. I have a Lyman 4 cavity 98grain mould for wadcutters. Do you cast your own bullets? I'm getting the same storm as you but its all rain on this side of Lake Ontario. Thanks for posting and lovely revolver!
that look similar to the 22 s&w my dad had and fixed with my cap gun when they were Matel i remember my buddy had a 32 s&w police model nickel plated hammer less.
Nice gun nibs good shootin too!

I have a 30-1 and I love it! It changed from the I frame to the J frame at the -1 model number. I still want to find an I frame.
I know the feeling we are getting 13 inches of snow and 40 mph winds ! 🥶
Great shooting as always. Awesome revolver. We have a blizzard here in Chicago.

Great Smith and Wesson pistol for sure.
Those wadcutters worked well for target shooting.

The first gun I shot was a .38 alot like that one. I was 8😮😅
Nice looking pistol!
Saludos
I had a model 31-1 back in the ‘80 and didn’t like it . Only one ammo available and it had no power.
I do still have the original box and grips.
Nice little pistol
